Very Frustrating Experience From Start to Finish My experience purchasing this Kia has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I purchased a used Kia on September 2nd, believing I was buying a rel experience purchasing this Kia has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I purchased a used Kia on September 2nd, believing I was buying a reliable vehicle from a major dealership. Unfortunately, shortly after the purchase, (an hour later) I began experiencing multiple concerns with the vehicle and had to deal with several repairs and a process that left me feeling like I was constantly having to chase the dealership for answers. What made the experience even more frustrating was the inconsistent communication. I was given different information at different times, including how long my vehicle would need to stay at the dealership. I was told the vehicle would be kept for two days and that I would receive a loaner vehicle. When I showed up, I was then told there was no loaner available and that I had never been told I would receive one. I had to involve the director just to get help getting home. There were also issues getting updates about my vehicle and even difficulty locating my file when I called. I shouldn't have to repeatedly call, show up in person, or involve management just to find out what is happening with a vehicle I purchased from the dealership. The vehicle eventually went in for repairs, including brake work, replacement of two top plates/bearings, and an EVAP-related repair and test. The rear brake pads were also replaced, but the rear discs were not. The clicking noise I originally reported therefore remained. I later brought the vehicle to my independent mechanic, who advised me that the clicking noise was coming from a warped rear disc. I am also still experiencing the vehicle steering/going side to side while driving on the highway, which is another concern I reported. Another frustrating issue is that I was promised a tire kit and a spare-tire insert/foam. I have a recording of this conversation because, at this point, I felt I needed to document what was being promised to me. I am still waiting for a clear answer regarding these items. I purchased the vehicle on September 2nd, and today is September 22nd. I also found the paperwork and communication surrounding the repairs confusing, which left me questioning exactly what had been done and why certain issues were present on a vehicle that had relatively low mileage. For example, the inspection paperwork I received indicated the rear brake pads were measured at 8 mm, yet the rear pads were later replaced while the discs were not. The biggest problem isn't simply that a used vehicle needed repairs. Used cars can have issues. It's the way the situation was handled, the inconsistent communication, the lack of transparency, and the amount of effort I have had to put in as the customer just to get basic answers and assistance. Buying a vehicle is a major financial decision, and I expected a much more professional and reassuring experience from a Kia dealership. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customers should not have to feel like they are fighting to get information and support after purchasing a vehicle. For anyone considering buying a vehicle from Mega Kia, my advice based on my experience is: save every photo, email, text message, recording, inspection document, and piece of paperwork. If possible, have the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic, bring a friend or family member with you, and get every promise or agreement in writing. I would not want another customer to go through the same experience I am still dealing with. More
More
