Service department - POOR SERVICE If I could, this would be ZERO stars. The only thing great about this place are there sales reps, mechanics and location...otherwise, I warn you...go If I could, this would be ZERO stars. This review is in reaction to the service department (not the mechanics, who are great). I've been calling the service department for over a week, have been directed to a voicemail. I have left 4 different messages, with no calls back. Today I called back, and was adamant to be directed to an individual. I asked for a service appointment and to change my winter tires. She said to come in 1.5 weeks!!! Are you kidding me? What a joke on hospitality as they clearly can't even answer the phone properly and give me a date that I'd like. Just to be clear, I called EARLY so I could get an appointment in a weeks' time. Either hire more staff, or change management...this is not the first time this has happened. When I got my winter tires changed last time, they could not offer me a shuttle back home and they said it would only be a 45 minute late. Apparently 45 minutes means 2 hours! If I knew, I could have arranged someone to pick me up. From now on, I plan on going to a different service center that treats people with respect. I also plan to tell others to avoid coming to this service centre as I don't want others to go through this. More

Was very excited, went to pick up brand new 2016 HRV this morning that we waited six weeks for, at Markham Honda Ontario Canada. Car was not prepared properly - covered with dust, white milky spot (defect) on roof (deep ocean pearl), rough paint especially on rear spoiler, sides, and upper doors felt like there were bits in the paint (as compared to car in showroom), dust on car, 8" scratch on windshield. Rusty wheel locks. Never got to turning the engine on. Dealership offered to fix it up (should have been ready in the first place). Offered to buff out windshield (!). Asked for a loaner, told we would have to pay for it. Long story short we thought we were buying a new car, not a fixer upper, did not trust they would do the job properly based on the comments and attitude. Got deposit back, can only imagine because they thought they can turn it around and sell it to someone else as they are apparently in short supply. Left such a bad taste we are looking at another CUV. To Honda Canada - erosion happens one grain of sand at a time. More

Unprofessional, poor customer service Stay away from this dealership at any cost. I took quotes on 2016 Accord from Hamilton to Ajax and they convinced me to beat all the quotes and had me drove 100kms and it turned out that they were the most expensive among all the GTA dealerships. Customer Services is very poor. During the entire conversation, manager did not even bother to show his face and discuss the matter with us. There was no sorry or apology from anyone in the dealership. It was apparent that they were not interested to seal the deal while other dealerships were desperate to win my business. It seems like they have enough business and they expect the customers to beg them to sell their cars. More

Told me a certain feature was only available in the American version. It was not true. The dealership then followed up and asked me to rate the sales rep. I just said excellent. He was a young guy and I thought I'd give him a break since anything less than excellent was supposed to be a performance review. Honda should be asking more specific questions such as how did the sales rep reply to your questions. My service experience has been poor. Imagine a service department in which you walk in to no greetings at all whatsoever even when there are advisors sitting there. They do not acknowledge you. Customers who are standing there are obviously waiting for an advisor but, nope, you are still not acknowledged. One has to walk up to the advisor and then you might be told he's already helping someone else. It's incredible how this attitude prevails in the four years that I've been there. We put up with it because we are only there once in while. I'm actually looking at American cars now. My experience with their service has been amazing. The problem with Markham Honda's service department is management. Honda needs to institute a feedback system at this location to get some real idea of what's happening. I even witnessed a customer arguing with an advisor who he thought was scamming him with unnecessary costs. More
