I brought in my car for a recall on the starter motor. While there they found a problem with the rear differential. All items were covered under warranty and the work was completed the same day. My car has 4900 km left until a required vehicle check. When I got it back, that number dropped to 250. I asked Jack how is this possible and if it could be reversed back, he said my car is due. He then brought outs sheet to show me what was scanned. The sheet stated “car due for vehicle check October 2026 or 4900 km”. So I asked him, how is due, if this is what your scan is tell us. His response was “it’s a vehicle check, it’s due”. I asked for the alert to be removed and changed back to the original schedule. He said that can only be done after the vehicle check which would need to pay for. I walked away from him as he was not understanding and took no responsibility for the error that was made. More
