I said ok do the work and then they broke my exhaust and tried to get me to pay for that as well. I wasn’t having it. Long story short they didn’t do the tune up and wanted to sell me different spark plugs instead of using the ones I bought specifically for the car. I left there with a new clicking sound when I would shift gears from reverse to drive. I told them what was going on and they told me it would cost $3500 to fix that new problem. I had no noise or problems with my car going into this shop. Then they called me, emailed me, text me to trade my car off. Straight dirty business. Cost me $1500 to get new problems and issues with my car. Simple tune up not so simple. I would not recommend anyone going to this automotive shop ever. More

Loyal customer for over 10 years. Purchased 4 chev 1500 trucks within this time. First two were alright. 2017 LTZ engine and transmission failure at 56,000 km. Got it fixed, which too Purchased 4 chev 1500 trucks within this time. First two were alright. 2017 LTZ engine and transmission failure at 56,000 km. Got it fixed, which took a couple of weeks. Got it back and a week later it broke down again with the same problems. Brought it in and purchased a brand new 2021 High Country out of the showroom. Within 6 months or 13,000km it had bent pushrods and lifter failure. I broke down north of LaRonge and crawled it into town. Had to wait three days for a tow because they told me it would cost money for them to tow it themselves, so I had to wait. Another month in the shop. Once fixed I started having oil consumption problems. They kept telling me to bring it in and start an oil consumption test, which required me to bring it in every 1000km three times. I didn’t and kept adding oil when needed. Oil loss kept getting worse, so I finally started the consumption test. The first and second intervals of 1000km I was losing about a litre of oil. 200 km into the third interval I started losing power and all gauges went crazy until I shut off the truck. I brought into shop and find out cylinders 2 and 7 need replacing. Chain case needs replacing and also a few other issues. GM and Chev know about these issues and keep getting dealerships to patch up these problems, which is obviously not working. The following Monday get a call from parts to tell me they are in. Then dealership texts to bring my truck in. I tell them I brought it in a week ago, They then tell me it should be finished in about a week. I phone about a week and a half later to see if it’s done. I am then told, “ oh , we are short staffed on technicians and we haven’t even started on it yet”. It was in the shop for a month again. I attempted to buy a new truck, this time a 1500 diesel as reports show they are more reliable. They wouldn’t give me deal or anything close to the payments I was currently making. Salesman had no time for me as well. So I traded it in and went with Ram Rebel from Andersons in Prince Albert, as they were way more accommodating. One year later I have no issues at all. Whether your new or a loyal customer, it’s only a game of squeezing as muck out of you as they can. Don’t recommend at all. I would go to Shelbrook Chevrolet if I ever decide to drive chev again. I recently visited Mann - Northway Dealership in Prince Albert with the intention of purchasing a 2019 Colorado Z71 Diesel that they had listed for $45,598. However, my experience left me extremely disappo Albert with the intention of purchasing a 2019 Colorado Z71 Diesel that they had listed for $45,598. However, my experience left me extremely disappointed. Firstly, the salesman's pitch was centered around the vehicle having undergone a 150-point inspection. Within just 7 minutes of inspecting the vehicle, I pointed out significant issues. The rear tires, in particular, were visibly worn, and the tailgate lock was corroded to the point where neither myself nor the salesman could insert the key. To add to my dismay, when the tailgate was lowered, it revealed one of the pistons from the topper hanging down. Astonishingly, the inspection checklist indicated that all these components were in good condition. This immediately shattered any trust I had in their inspection process. I made a reasonable offer of $40,000 with $30,000 in cash and the remaining amount to be financed over 2 years. Despite pointing out these glaring issues and the fact that Car Gurus indicated an overpricing of $6,231 for the vehicle, the best they would do was reduce the price to $41,500. This showed a complete disregard for customer concerns and a failure to acknowledge the necessary repairs. What truly disappointed me was the dealership's inability to work with me, even after I expressed my willingness to build a long-term relationship as a customer. I'm now willing to go out of my way to another dealership, even as far as Saskatoon, for future service and tune-ups for my Chevrolet. Mann - Northway Dealership, your unwillingness to address concerns, failure to uphold the integrity of your inspection process, and lack of flexibility in negotiations have cost you a loyal customer. Well done, indeed. More
Well, I called today to book an oil change. We live out of town at the lake and it is about a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive round trip. The lady I spoke with said sure come on in. I then asked how busy We live out of town at the lake and it is about a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive round trip. The lady I spoke with said sure come on in. I then asked how busy they were and since I have a 3 hour round trip I wanted to make sure I could get in, She advised they do not book appointments on Saturday and she had no idea how busy they were and could not transfer me to ask how busy they were as there are no service people on today, just technicians. Now, Mann Motors has phoned me at least twice plus texted me because it is time for an oil change. It appears there is not a willingness to accommodate a customer with a timeline. I am not going to drive all the way there to be told I cannot get in because the receptionist does not want to take the time to find out how busy the shop is. Very poor service and oil changes should be by appointment. Very inconvenient for the customer to have to hurry up and then wait. I am going to call another oil change place to get it done asap as we are planning a road trip out east. This service experience today is not even a 1. The receptionist was courteous but not helpful at all. In a pinch in the past when we had an issue with the engine light they were great, snuck us in and got us back on the road very quickly. So, I guess you have to be right there to get good service aka a 4or 5 More
Horrible service. Booked our vehicle in and dropped it off at the scheduled appointment time. Called later that day and they said they have not even looked at it yet Booked our vehicle in and dropped it off at the scheduled appointment time. Called later that day and they said they have not even looked at it yet. Left the vehicle over night there. Received a call the next afternoon stating that we missed our appointment. Then when corrected that they still had our vehicle from yesterday they said to disregard this call. The person who called us had a completely horrible condescending attitude. It is now 2 full days and nights they have had our vehicle and no work has been done on it. I do not recommend !!! More
