I recently purchased a vehicle from Mann Northway and would rate my experience as 3 stars. I worked with Rudy as my salesman — he was great to deal with: professional, easy to work with, and did his best to help me get into the vehicle I wanted. The service manager was also very helpful and easy to talk to. I’ve also dealt with Jed in the past, who was excellent to work with, even though we weren’t able to find the right vehicle at the time. That being said, buyers should be prepared to go through every detail of the paperwork and vehicle history very carefully. While reviewing my paperwork, I found a $700 charge for a replacement key fob that had not been discussed prior. It felt like it was being quietly added in, though to their credit, it was removed once I caught it. More importantly, after the sale was finalized, I discovered that the vehicle had previously had its engine replaced — something I was never told during the buying process. I was only informed that it had "passed the recall," with no mention of the prior engine replacement. While not a deal breaker for me, it’s the kind of information I would have expected to be upfront about. There was also some confusion around the oil change offer. I was told I would be receiving two free oil changes, but the actual program is that the first oil change is free, and after purchasing three, the fifth one is free — not what was initially explained. Lastly, I had a frustrating experience with the finance department, where I was essentially told that these vehicles are designed to break down, which felt like a sales tactic after I declined the extended warranty. In summary: Rudy and the service team were good to deal with, but buyers should be very meticulous when reviewing paperwork and verifying all vehicle details before signing. Important information may not be volunteered unless specifically asked for, so take your time and go through everything carefully More

Service has been good for the five and a half years that I’ve owned our pickup. Purchase was fine, but our salesman has since retired. My only complaint is the upgrade e-mails I keep getting for new trucks I’ve owned our pickup. Purchase was fine, but our salesman has since retired. My only complaint is the upgrade e-mails I keep getting for new trucks in with inaccurate information on mileage, my current payments which are nil, not the $351 bi-weekly that were done last October. I have also repeatedly said to staff in person and on the phone calls from salesmen that I WILL NOT be upgrading. I appreciate my monthly report and info regarding recalls, etc., but not the pestering to upgrade(trade) and get into 7 years of bi- weekly payments that I am not eligible for insurance for because of my age.
