BEWARE: This dealership breaks promises to fix major issues with cars that they have sold. Don't trust a word they say. This dealership sold me a car with only one fob and no metal keys in December. They promised to provide the extra fob and metal keys within a week. For over a month they ignored and deflected my requests for them to follow through. When I finally got their partner locksmith company to program me a second fob (which does not even work), the company informed me that the dealership had failed to pay. They will now only do the remaining work if I pay them directly, because of the dealership's unreliability. I will be out hundreds of dollars to get this done myself. More

We have received "almost" zero response, responsibility, accountability or give a flying "F" to what happened. Two days before Christmas, I picked up my vehicle from Macleod Trail Toyota after a routine oil change and wheel alignment. The final bill was over $800 due to additional services that were added. At my previous oil change, the dealership advised there was an issue related to a gasket/cap and told us to "keep an eye on the coolant gauge." No urgency was communicated at that time, and the vehicle was returned to me as though it was safe to drive. At this December service appointment, the gasket/cap issue was raised again. This time, I was told that if the issue was not repaired, the vehicle could fail and that the repair would cost approximately $7,000. With only two days until Christmas, we were left to absorb this information, consider our options, and possibly seek another estimate. Immediately after leaving the dealership, my vehicle began experiencing serious mechanical problems and ultimately failed. Given the timing and the prior warnings, this sequence of events raises serious concern. We contacted the dealership immediately and did not get a phone call or a response to our email, I was dumbfounded. I bought this vehicle in 2010, I have never had a serious accident, its been serviced yearly. It was only when I took it to Macleod Trail was when the problems started. It seemed like it was one thing after another. Safety being my number 1 priority, to have my car smoking, electrical failure and completely die on me with my two kids in the car is absolutely disgusting and negligent. I strongly encourage others to ask direct questions, ensure all information is provided clearly and in writing, and consider whether this dealership truly prioritizes customer safety and accountability. Dealership added items I had no wish for on top of the sale price and wouldn’t remove them and instead discounted them somewhat. They then tried to rip me off on trade in initially offering me 30% less sale price and wouldn’t remove them and instead discounted them somewhat. They then tried to rip me off on trade in initially offering me 30% less than their final offer and dragged their heels in this process hoping I would run out of options - I didn’t and walked from the deal finding the same car (arriving sooner) from an ethical dealership where their immediate trade in offer was $1 k over McLeods 5th offer. My advice would be buy elsewhere like I did as they were awful and unethical to deal with More
My 90 minute service 1 ( an oil change and fluid check) which is a sit and wait appointment took 3hrs and 20 minutes and that is without the car wash I requested. I have to tell the service advisor to cancel the wash because I couldn’t wait any longer. No apology and no repeat business from this guy. The only reason it’s not a 1 star review is because I think the actual oil change was completed properly. More

Tire change from owner mounted wheels and oil change. After waiting 6 hours was informed that manager was requested to accelerate. This is unacceptable, really cannot recommend the service, would have at least expected updates on the progress and reason of delays. Will drive out of city for next service. More
Service Centre: My frustration with this experience knows no bounds. Booked in for an oil change and to reset tire pressure sensor. Drop off at 10 am took 1/2 an hour, 6.5 hours later the work vehicle is sti no bounds. Booked in for an oil change and to reset tire pressure sensor. Drop off at 10 am took 1/2 an hour, 6.5 hours later the work vehicle is still on a lift and I’m sitting in the lobby because I couldn’t get through to the service centre after trying to find out if the vehicle was done for 45 minutes. trying to get through to someone with at least 6 dropped calls/being sent to voicemail. The staff are pleasant but for the number of people currently wandering aimlessly around the lobby/ service centre, non of which are actually on a phone I’m extremely disappointed. This was a very expensive lesson in frustration. More

Why NOT Heninger Toyota? Know these people well! Especially these individuals! In my opinion, from the owner down to the lowest-level employee, they are all the same becau Know these people well! Especially these individuals! In my opinion, from the owner down to the lowest-level employee, they are all the same because every single one of them thinks they are very smart and treats customers like fools. They delivered a defective vehicle. They made me wait for over a month under false pretenses for a repair. They used my vehicle for their personal business while it was left for repair. When I checked through the Toyota app at night, I found my car parked in front of a staff member named Rank’s house. I retrieved my car with my spare key. First, they lied and claimed my car had been stolen, then they tried to justify it by saying such things are “normal.” The finance officer Kelvin applied for car loans in my name with every financing institution except the bank I requested, then forced me into the one with the highest interest rate and longest repayment term. Another staff member named Justin worked like Rank’s partner in crime and also tried to treat me like a fool. Finally, Nicholas, who is supposedly a senior manager, was the last person to insult my intelligence by claiming that using my vehicle for personal purposes is “normal.” I requested a police report, and they refused to provide one. I asked them who the subcontractor was—the one they claimed did the work on my vehicle—and they could not give an answer. You can see their photos attached to this review. Let’s all watch together how I will deal with them. More
