MacNeil Motors

On the first Saturday of November 2013, I went to MacNeil Motors and purchased a 2007 Chev Equinox. Despite the place being super-busy, it was a really great experience. Despite my bad credit rating (had 2 Motors and purchased a 2007 Chev Equinox. Despite the place being super-busy, it was a really great experience. Despite my bad credit rating (had 2 bankruptcies), I was able (through whatever hoops they jumped) to get approved for financing and get myself a vehicle that I knew would be decent and reliable. Because of my bad credit rating, we had to wait for the banks to install an immobilizer, which took some time to receive. As a result, I was not able to drive my Equinox home that day, but within a couple of weeks Landon, along with a co-worker, took the effort to drive almost 4 hours to my location in Buchanan, SK and literally park the Equinox in my front driveway. I`m amazed I didn`t drive Liam crazy with my countless phone calls, asking when my Equinox would arrive. lol I knew it was no fault of their own. In fact it was the exact opposite! If it wasn`t for their awesome customer service and their diligence, I never would have had this awesome vehicle in the first place. And the timing couldn`t have been better! I had a 1998 White Dodge Caravan that was literally on it`s last legs. The day after I brought it home it died. lol So yeah, I was eager to get my Equinox so I could have something worth driving again. Would I recommend these guys to anybody! Absolutely! I have already done so with a couple that just moved to the Saskatchewan area from Newfoundland. I know once they`re ready (they`re not quite at their jobs long enough) they will indeed visit MacNeil Motors. I should also point out, these guys also gave me some awesome advice about how to improve my credit score so that next time I choose to go for a vehicle again (and it will be through them) I can vastly improve the interest rate and my chances of perhaps getting something more ideal. In all honesty, though, I`m very happy with my Equinox. Thank you so very much to Liam & Landon! Brenan was also awesome! Come to think of it, don`t think there`s anybody on the team that isn`t worth a huge kudos! You certainly deserve a name in the good books. At least with me you do. I should also point out, whenever I`ve had an issue about anything, and I do mean anything, these guys will go out of their way to please. Anybody who dares say otherwise needs to do better homework. More

I was very disappointed with the whole experience. I was told I was approved, drove up from out of town. I was told I wouldn't be wasting my time!! When we arrived they wouldn't tell me what my price range told I was approved, drove up from out of town. I was told I wouldn't be wasting my time!! When we arrived they wouldn't tell me what my price range was but could deal on a 09-10 vehicle with a very reasonable rate, which they couldn't tell me! Test drove the unit and wanted to make a deal. Then came the "hiccup"!! Oh sorry you haven't been at your job long enough but if we put your wife down on the loan we can make that work. Ok we said.... Wasted more time waiting around. Again we have a "hiccup" then they asked if we could put anyone else on the loan. Umm nope sorry you guys just contradicted every thing you say you are and what what you're company believes in!! They obviously knew this before I even got there but I was reassured it would be a waste of time! Thanks for the not so wonderful experience. I would never recommend this business to anyone! More
