Long story short, the fix was under warranty but they also detected that the battery voltage was low and needed replacing. $300 for new battery and installation. It's worth noting, at this point, that we had replaced the battery less than 2 years prior. We requested the old battery when picking up the car, and after checking the voltage with 2 other credible sources, there was nothing wrong with the battery. We took it back to get a refund and battery replaced. This isn't the only exchange that left a bad taste in our mouth, however this alone is more than enough for a half-star rating. Unfortunately, we didn't get the names of people dealt with, however Robert Rutledge was on the receipt. That being said, as with our two other experiences, no body we spoke with was reliable or honest at this location. As soon as our warranty is up we are staying as far away from a MacDonald Kia as possible and emphatically suggest that you follow suit. We were planning on getting a Rio, however that's out of the picture if we need to deal with MacDonald's. More
