We haven't bought a Mini yet, but after our experience here, it's very highly likely. We had an appointment with Philip, and when we arrived he was very busy. He quickly acknowledged us and asked us to wait while he got a car for us to test drive. We had many questions about the different models and are new to the Mini brand but my wife saw a countryman on the road and loved it. Philip was no pressure and very informative about everything we asked. He even went into detailed experience his clients have had. Eventhough we told him we were not buying today, he had taken the time to show us every option. Very friendly and relaxed, we will definitely recommend mini yaletown and Philip personally! More
This is the third time I have purchased a car from a dealership and, up until now, it has never been what I would call a pleasant experience (awkward, uncomfortable, pressured). Philip was genuinly frie dealership and, up until now, it has never been what I would call a pleasant experience (awkward, uncomfortable, pressured). Philip was genuinly friendly, he wasn't at all a "typical" sales person. Right from our first meeting with him he took the time to speak to both Chris and I, not focusing on just one of us. Our frequent email questions and the time he spent going over the car with me at the end was wonderful. There was no pressure, he was a great source of information and very patient! He made the experience a very positive one! Sean, the finance guy was also very friendly, very relaxed, took the time to go over different options with us and was very patient with our questions as well. Dealing with MINI Yaletown was a great experience. Thanks so much!! More

I had such a Great experience at Mini Yaletown and i I had such a Great experience at Mini Yaletown and i would reccomend your services to people that i know personally. Right from the begining i had I had such a Great experience at Mini Yaletown and i would reccomend your services to people that i know personally. Right from the begining i had Carlo Vecchio help me out with all of my questions and concerns around the mini cooper and the options that it came with. He was very confident in the product and assured me that i would love it. and so i did. as soon as i got there we started talking about payment options, vehicle options, and features in the vehicle that he thought i would enjoy. i think it was a pretty quick sale for Carlo, he just made everything so easy and was so confident that i would love the car. and just like he told me.... i took the car for a drive, and fell in love. done deal. Once i got back from the test drive with Carlo, we sat down, did some more paper work... he got me a very yumm hazelnut coffee, and we went through all of the options and functions of the vehicle. by the time i left, i felt very comfortable with the car and where everything was inside and out. I wasnt however, very happy with the amount scratches on the outer lip under the trunk. so Chris told me that would get me a protective plastic cover for the back lip, for free! and i went and had it put on the car within the week! i very pleased with all of the service from mini yaletown, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Carlo answered all of my questions, and put all of my concerns out of sight. but didnt make me feel pressured or uncomfortable at any point. it was a very pleasurable experience from begining to end. The only thing i could complain about was the insurance. I ended up waiting 45 minutes for it to be my turn to do the transfer of insurance, and by the time i got there i wasnt too pleased about the wait. Luckily you have such a beautiful customer lounge to hang out in, and while i was there Carlo got me another coffee, and helped me go through all of the warranty options for the vehicle. but even after all that time that he spent with me.... i was still left waiting!! To end it with a good thought, i enjoyed my time there. and i do love my new vehicle. THANK YOU MINI YALETOWN! and Thank you to Carlo for all your help and for finding me my cute new MINI!! I am a multi-time Mini owner. Sure the cars are great but a significant part of the reason for their success is the fact that they take care of their customers. Had the car in for servicing this week and it was a great service experience. They took care of the two problems that I had as well as finding another issue and fixing it for free (warranty related). The vehicle was ready at the time specified and for the agreed upon price. Great job again, guys! More

As a woman buying a car, it usually is a daunting experience but Mini Yaletown made it easy and fun. Albert Wong explained everything I wanted to know about my car and more. I saw a scratch on the experience but Mini Yaletown made it easy and fun. Albert Wong explained everything I wanted to know about my car and more. I saw a scratch on the door and he got it fixed right away. When I could not pick up my car on the scheduled day, because my Mom was in hospital, he was so very understanding and postponed pickup for me. Everything about the pickup was smooth including the insurance agent Florence who got the best insurance deal for me even though I had returned from the US. Sean was great too, he was very empathetic to my needs esp with my Mom and it was great that both Sean and Albert owned Minis themselves. Thank you Mini Yaletown! More

On a number of occasions they have fo my servicing done by Mini Yaletown. The work is done promptly and I am always offered a loaner car and a latte! On a number of occasions they have found minor things that I did not notice and fixed them at no charge. Also, I do quite a few track days a year with my car and I have had them do a number of specialized modifications to the suspension and brakes which they have been happy to take on and have done a very professional job. Full marks from me! More
test review for Chris - pain in the xxx that you have to do 250 characters... here's mine... :) The second-generation MINI is not as small as some would have us think. Actually, when compared to the do 250 characters... here's mine... :) The second-generation MINI is not as small as some would have us think. Actually, when compared to the original, it's pretty big. Yet, there's the same unmistakable design. Overall, the car looks absolutely magnificent, even drop-dead sexy. JCW upgrades significantly enhance the lines of the MINI. Several exterior features have been modified, starting with the bumpers. Also, the paint, roof, wheel, exhaust and body kit combinations are virtually infinite. It all works to improve both performance and styling, as evidenced by my black-and-grey tester. Construction is quite complex, particularly up front and near the hood where there are a number of joints. However, build quality is definitely part of the equation. When you open the door on a rainy day, you'll see water dropping directly on the seat. Talk about a cold welcome! Nevertheless, the front buckets are snug and comfortable, allowing an exceptional driving position for enthusiasts. Given the size of the MINI and the proximity of the pedals, I had to stretch my arms a little to grip the steering wheel. The dashboard brought me back to my childhood days. The styling is unique and the controls are laid out much like in a plane cockpit. The humongous circular gauge in the middle couldn't be easier to read. The same holds true for other instruments. There's a reason the car's nameplate is MINI: the interior is minuscule indeed. Storage is limited and the cargo area is close to inexistent. That said, for a couple or single, folding the rear seat offers some interesting cargo possibilities. From a driver's standpoint, enjoying the MINI's true heritage and reputation means throwing practicality and all-around visibility out the window. But boy, what a looker! More
