The last one took 2 months to get a part but that’s not the fault of the dealer but for my wait they did an extra service for me that is normally charged for . This is changing my perception of the dealers service . Overall I’m satisfied. More

My recent experience with the Kia service department has been marked by frustration and challenges. It all began on February 24th, 2024, when my husband and I encountered an alarming situation with our vehi been marked by frustration and challenges. It all began on February 24th, 2024, when my husband and I encountered an alarming situation with our vehicle while en route to dinner. The car signaled an overheating engine, fluid leakage, and critically low coolant levels. Acting swiftly, we topped up the coolant from a nearby gas station and left the car at the dealership for inspection as it was closed that day. However, communication from the service department was lacking, prompting my husband to make multiple attempts to reach out on Monday. When contact was finally made, issues regarding coolant leakage and lack of hot air on the passenger side were highlighted. Despite acknowledging fluid leakage during their inspection, pinpointing its source proved challenging for the service team. Subsequent interactions revealed no further leakage had been identified, leaving the heating issue unresolved. Kia identified a warranty-covered problem within the dashboard that required replacement to address the heating problem but faced delays obtaining the necessary part. Upon visiting for car collection post-identification of under-warranty issues and unresolved leaks, we were unexpectedly charged for investigating coolant leakage despite no resolution. Efforts to reach out directly to Kia went unanswered despite sharing insights into our ordeal through their website's "Contact Us" form. Weeks later, scheduling a service appointment aimed at conducting routine maintenance and fixing heating issues led us to pick up our vehicle anticipating completion within four days at worst-case scenario. As time passed without updates on progress or resolution status between April 15th and April 24th post drop-off date, concerns over extended delays in returning our vehicle grew. Unexpected repairs pushed back estimated completion dates multiple times amid acknowledgments of complexities involved in repair procedures necessitating thorough inspections. Reaching out again on April 29th provided reassurances but also highlighted frustrations over prolonged wait times without clear solutions offered or established communication channels throughout processes. Lack of clarity in repair progressions significantly impacted trust levels alongside communication lapses contributing towards heightened frustrations. Acknowledging complexities inherent in extensive repair tasks requiring meticulous attention is crucial while appreciating proactive gestures such as offering loaner vehicles amidst ongoing uncertainties. While occasional positive interactions were noted along this journey; cumulative experiences have left us feeling disheartened and frustrated. Uncertainties surrounding definitive resolutions coupled with extended timelines have tested patience beyond limits amid growing doubts over eventual delivery dates concerning repaired vehicles potentially extending wait periods indefinitely. Improvements in communication effectiveness are needed moving forward to reinstate faith in prompt resolutions tailored per earlier commitments made by the esteemed organization. More
DON'T GET YOUR CAR SERVICED- ITS A SCAM! Lockwood Kia is a company with body of lies and a staff which is truly unprofessional and irrational. I went for car servicing to them the 2nd time and again they did not reveal the service fee and all the inclusions. You always get a unpleasant feeling once they give you the final price which is different than the one they have put on their service board. Shainne and Colin, Matt are the biggest liars of Lockwood Kia working under Michael who is protects them for all wrongdoings . Unfortunately, I had a really painful 12 months dealing with them during my order for Kia Telluride and now for servicing I always get nightmares dealing with their service team. Lockwood Kia sales and service dept both have zero customer retention ability nor do they have iota of product and features knowledge wonder how they even got hired. I had few instances where I asked them about my car concerns and safety issues but they don't listen and have no intentions to help or resolve my concerns. They make you sign on contract without including service fee and later claim that you signed the contract. So please beware and read their service contract a few times. These guys can go any extent to protect themselves(even call the cops and give false information and claims) when they know they are clearly on the wrong side of things. I am very dissapointed that I had to deal with them and won't make that mistake again ever in future. I urge people not to buy their vehicles from Lockwood Kia as you will also suffer during the waiting period and after that for servicing. Lockwood Kia dealership contract should be scrapped and they should be banned from any servicing jobs. I know they will deny all charges and come up with false information against me which I won't be surprised as they have a habit of doing this with their customers. More
I brought in my car on July 5th and was advised that it's covered under warranty for the replacement of the coolant. I didn't hear back until I followed up with them on July 7th which is a Friday after numer covered under warranty for the replacement of the coolant. I was finally told that the coolant had been replaced however they found more issues on the wiring. Due to this they would need to keep the car till July 10th or 11th. I had not had the rental as I was advised the parts were not on back order. Despite the parts not being on back order they found additional problems which they got approved by KIA for. All these problems were covered by warranty however still a replacement vehicle was not provided. The sad part was until I don't follow up with them I don't get any updates. Now an entire weekend has going by with no car nor a replacement vehicle. As kind as he was he made no effort in trying to make an exception on my behalf but simply conveyed the information only until I asked and followed up. The sad part was there was no proactiveness nor a follow-up and everything was just provided from an informational standpoint. The vehicle is brand new approximately 1 year 1 month. The dealership refuses to follow up until I continuously call them. In addition I was advised that since the part was not on back order I would not get a loaner vehicle. I was completely fine with that however after discovering more issues in which I had to follow up with I was then advised that there still would be no loaner vehicle. I'm just disappointed that the fact that there is no proactiveness by them Updated on August 18th 2023. Today I finally received my car. Yes my initial review was very negative however during the course the dealership did go out of its way to assist me. The manager Michael Defreitas did give me a call and offered me a rental on the dealerships on cost starting on July 8th. On July 10th the dealership did confirm that the parts are back ordered and had arranged a similar size rental for me. I must say initially things did not go well but one thing I have enjoyed about this dealership is that they do try and work things out with you even though initially it does not work in your favor. Nothing but praise for this dealership. I had taken my 2018 Kia Soul EV to my local Kia dealership to have my EV battery checked as I was experiencing issues with it. My local dealership said there was nothing wrong with my battery. I continued to have issues and was told to take it to Lockwood to have them look at it. I was lucky to have gotten Peter Kawa as my mechanic. He was very kind and professional. He listened to my issues and took care of me. My car is now in to have my EV battery replaced due to Peter's proper diagnostic of my car. He's a great mechanic and would recommend him and Lockwood to look after anyone else to have their Kia's issues taken care of. Thanks guys for everything. More
