This is the first time I dealt with the Leggat dealership in Burlington. I was very impressed with the sales lady, Hailey Bennett, the financial manager Michael, and Piero, the sales manager. They were all in Burlington. I was very impressed with the sales lady, Hailey Bennett, the financial manager Michael, and Piero, the sales manager. They were all very professional and accommodating during the entire purchasing process. There was no concern that was too small for their undivided attention. The follow-up assistance after I took possession was A1. They appreciated that this was a big purchase for me and acted accordingly . It was a great experience! More
A family member brought a car in to be certified, July 2023. The certificate expired some 35 days later with the registered owner not having transferred it to his grandson, as yet. We took it back in to b 2023. The certificate expired some 35 days later with the registered owner not having transferred it to his grandson, as yet. We took it back in to be re-certified, which they did but, they missed a leaking fuel line, a loose tie rod and a badly worn tire that needed replacing. Initially, my complaint was met with the wall of zero accountability but they backed off and told me to bring the car in and hey would see what they could do. Trust destroyed, We took the car elsewhere to be repaired. More
Lost my appointment I booked IN their office and waited one month for and cut my vacation short for. Called me because they didn’t know why my car was there. Then agreed to look at it with their transmissi one month for and cut my vacation short for. Called me because they didn’t know why my car was there. Then agreed to look at it with their transmission specialist. No phone calls to update me, kept it for a whole week while I didn’t have a car for work, finally called me at the end of the week to say they want to change the timing chain , even though I had already replaced it 4 years earlier. Car went j. Because it didn’t know when to change gears properly… this is why I waited a month for the transmission specialist. Pretty sure my car never did see a transmission specialist. I agreed to a price of $1551.00. Took my engine out… it’s on the floor. They call me, they made a terrible mistake and mis quoted me. This after I say hi Andy how are you and as always ., oh well it’s not a very good day. Then hits me up with a price of $6000 for a timing chain replacement !!!! Who’s I since found out is about double compared to other dealership quotes!my car is In Pieces and and now they are taking advantage of me! Pass me onto the office manager I also since found out is just the office clerk and only does what they tell her to do. She told me they would knock off $1000, after much discussion I said do it and they promised it would be done in 2 days. I had to walk into the shop to get answers. They said no.. won’t be done we don’t have the parts for it. Now I have no car and it’s going to be weeks!! Andy waits two days to tell me my car won’t be ready. NO LOANER, no rental, had to borrow a car for my vacation. No updates , no calls back and. $6000 later yes 6! I now have no car and no money to buy another car. I will put the next part of my story on here tomorrow it’s bad it gets MUCH worse More
I would like to thank Joanne & Tim for finding me a car that I like to drive and can afford. Julian helped me out 2 years earlier, and now that I was in trouble, he was the same outstanding service as before. I was so impressed that after so long, it was as if I never walked away at all. Right on t in trouble, he was the same outstanding service as before. I was so impressed that after so long, it was as if I never walked away at all. Right on time, worked with me on how much to do, and how much could be left until next time. In fact, Julian, asked me what my budget was, and together we figured out the work to do immediately. Dealerships like this are rare & help us diffuse our fear of how expensive they are. I'm very grateful, they arranged a rental for me, (when there was NO availability online), and got me a great discounted rate. Care was washed inside & out for.me when I came to pick it up. Very very grateful for My Lord's kindness to.me through this experience! More
I just specced a new vehicle at Leggat, working with Beau Cormier. He was a professional throughout the whole process and worked hard to ensure we got the vehicle we wanted and on time. Our sales rep, Nick Tannous and sales manager Shawn Alam, were extremely knowledgable, professional and they made you feel that you were part of the Leggat family. We have purchased other Cadillac cars in the past with the same Leggat group and we would totally, without hesitation, recommend them! Leggat is a family run business and they give back to our community on an ongoing basis! Buying a new car can be frustrating to say the least, my husband and I have to honestly and humbly say that our experience today with Nick and Shawn and the other folks we meet was really an exciting and delightful endeavour. Can't wait to drive our new car!! Thank you very kindly, Gary and Daniela Janozeski More

It has been nothing but problems from day one, but we have realized half the problems is the so called mechanics in the service centre. We have had our entire steering wheel and steering wheel system replaced over 4 times!!!! The last time this was done it was done so poorly the mechanic crossed the a/c pump line with the steering pump line! Thank goodness we found a reliable GM dealership (Budds) that was able to fix it or it would have kept rubbing (causing a horrible vibration and noise when we drove, which was normal according to Leggat) and burned a whole in both pumps which would have had to been replaced at my expense! Move on to when we started having a/c issues at 55,000km and they couldn't find a leak but the coolant was low so they topped it up. And we were to monitor it and they wrote under warranty. Next summer the a/c started blowing white smoke! Again they "couldn't find the leak" and topped it up again! At this point about another summer went and we had more issues with the suv and the check engine kept coming on of course not one person in the entire dealership could tell us what was wrong with the suv!!! They brought in a special technician and when the suv back fired he refused to work on it anymore. They gave it back to us and told us we had an "impending issue" and that they don't stand behind any vehicle with more then 100,000km on it! Give me a freaking break! Who has ever heard of something so ridiculous??!! I have never bought a new vehicle just because it has 100,000km on it. So I took the suv home and the next day the check engine light came home took it to a local repair shop they scanned it with there scanner for $20 and the problem was an O2 sensor!!!!! So the so called skilled technicians at Leggats can't even diagnosis a faulty O2 sensor!! Fast Forward to today I took the suv Budds Chev on suggestion of GM of Canada because they were paying for part of my a/c repair because Leggat should have repaired it under warranty and refused to do it, plus legally they are not suppose to keep refilling a known leaking a/c unit, it's illegal! They had to keep my suv for over 2 days to take the front dash off (Leggat was to lazy to do this, they had told me they thought the leak was there but it was too long a job), when they reached the evaporator core they said it was so disgusting and so green, they don't know how it wasn't making me sick when I was using the a/c. They even gave me a free rental suv to use which Leggat would never do after so many km! And guess what I stopped going to Leggat's when I had about 125,000km on my suv and I now have 218,191km on it and it has never run better since I have stopped serving it at Leggat's! I have less issues with it, so you can tell it is definitely poor service! Also you might want to have your service manager take some classes in manners and how to be a professional, he spent more time talking down to me as a woman like I knew nothing about cars. And when a man came in he was too busy boasting about how he would never own a GM personally and how he only owns Ford, and the only GM he has is a company car. Leggat you need to clean up your act in service, and realize people don't just turn around and buy new vehicles when there's hit 100,000km! I tend to like mine and want to get my monies worth! You could learn many things from Budds'!!! More
