If you have to buy a vehicle from Lapointe's I would strongly suggest you buy it from her. Scott on the other hand... pushy, mouthy, and constantly interrupts. When talking to him over the phone I was told that because I didn't show up with the stock number of a vehicle I wanted to trade my truck against, I had wasted everyone's time. When I brought up the fact that I have been getting personalized mail-outs and phone calls requesting I bring my truck in to get a trade in/sell quote he said: "Do you get mad at Canadian Tire because they send you a flyer but don't want to buy your tools? Than you can't get upset that we won't buy your truck." He spent the entire phone call cutting me off every three words to belittle my questions and myself. I told the sales rep I was working with that I had problems with him. She passed this on to Tiffany. Lo and behold who sits down to "help push the deal through". Scott. So let's break that down into a simple thought: A manager is told that a customer has a inter-personal problem with one of their employees, so that employee is sent to work with them. Are these people new? I visited yesterday to again ask for someone to look at the trade-in value of my truck. I was there, with an associate, for 2 hours and they wouldn't leave the office to. I was told that they would not even consider looking at my truck unless I handed them my keys, ownership, and insurance slip. Even then I would have to test drive several vehicles first. I refused to hand over my papers and keys because I honestly thought they would not give them back. My experiences with Lapointe Chrysler have done nothing but reinforce what EVERYONE told me after I bought my truck. They are pushy, immoral, high-pressure crooks. More

Taking advantage of kids My 19 year old son purchased a car from this dealership. Two hours later, he changed his mind and returned to the dealership. He was told to return on Monday and speak with a manager. The manager, knowing there was an issue, transferred the ownership and plated the car then told him that there was nothing she could do. My son works at the Canadian Forces base in Petawawa. Is this how people are doing business?? Using high-pressure sales tact acts and taking advantage of young people? Shameful!!!!
