Car Inspection 2005 Pontiac Pursuit I had my Mom's old car from Montreal inspected at Lakewood Chev. this past Wed Jan 11, 2017. Service Mgr James Logoczar was very helpful. Inspection I had my Mom's old car from Montreal inspected at Lakewood Chev. this past Wed Jan 11, 2017. Service Mgr James Logoczar was very helpful. Inspection was completed by 08.45 and they said they could complete necessary repairs right away. This was very encouraging, to have everything completed right away without making another appt. to have repairs done. . James was very resourceful in being able to get a front headlight assembly from an after market supplier, which in turn saved some extra money. I had brought some work with myself to complete while repairs were being completed., so I was able to keep busy, while the work was completed. The work was completed at 14.45 and the vehicle is in tiptop shape, to operate once again. Kudos to James and his team. I will recommend people to use Lakewood Chev in the future, as I have in the past. Many of the staff know me by name, which makes you feel like a valued customer. I am in sales in the transportation industry and can attest that many places don't have that warm, fuzzy feeling about them when they deal with you, you are just a number and not a valued associate. Unfortunate first impression. To start off the people at Lakewood Chevrolet Service center were nice and friendly. I just hope their diagnostic mistakes are a few and far between f To start off the people at Lakewood Chevrolet Service center were nice and friendly. I just hope their diagnostic mistakes are a few and far between for other customers because they would end up wasting their time and money needing different service done. If your think Lakewood quotes are too expensive for you make sure that the other service shop confirms Lakewood diagnostic report so you don't end up spending extra time and money like me. Lakewood did remedy the diagnostic inspection cost by offering a free oil change for my truck which is fair. Just make sure that Lakewood cover the cost of a wrong diagnostic on your vehicle if you get it serviced there because they told me they would if I got my truck serviced with them. More
