Unnecessary Service Performed and Rectified I have previously had good experiences at this dealership, but this time I left feeling very unsettled. On a Wednesday evening, a series of warning li I have previously had good experiences at this dealership, but this time I left feeling very unsettled. On a Wednesday evening, a series of warning lights came on my vehicle. I called first thing Thursday morning and was able to get it in that day, which I was quite impressed with as I was anxious about the warnings. I arrived at the shop early, so was a bit groggy - the service rep asked me about all of the warning lights and noted them all, but then mentioned that he didn't have a note that I had gotten my fuel filter replaced. I mentioned I thought I may have had it done in Calgary as I was living there recently, so it may not be in his records. I couldn't recall exactly, again, as it was quite early and I had rushed to come in after waking up, so he asked if he could put it on the work order and if I was okay with the price. I said the cost doesn't bother me as long as it needed to get done, so I expected that this would be checked before being done. I picked my car up on Friday, met with a very expensive bill for the oil and fuel filter change - I had an event to get to so paid, and went on my way. I noticed that my fuel filter screen had not been reset, and was still at 84%. This felt odd to me, as it should have been much lower if the service was necessary or 100% if the crew had reset it. I then checked my paperwork at home, and, as I suspected, had gotten the filter replaced in Calgary in February. This does not sit well with me at all, as I don't have the budget for unnecessary service right now. I would expect more diligence in checking if the vehicle actually required an expensive service before it was done. I initially left a negative review to express my frustration and disappointment, and someone very shortly after got in touch with me to apologize and rectify the situation. I appreciate that I will be getting a credit for this charge. More

Fortunately, Google led us at LAKEWOOD which we couldn't have been thankful for because they took care of us FAST & Efficiently! We could t be any happier with the service and we moved on with our day and to makes things even better, they got our vehicle fixed the SAME DAY! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! Service - 2015 Corvette Z06- Battery Issue I always use a battery tender when the Z06 is not being driven. I've used the vehicle everyday for the last couple weeks. Today I go out. Cannot ge I always use a battery tender when the Z06 is not being driven. I've used the vehicle everyday for the last couple weeks. Today I go out. Cannot get into car. (dead battery). Phoned Ericka at the Lakewood Chevy. She gave me the GM Roadside Assistance phone number. Flatdeck was called to haul the car to the dealership. When the guy got to my place, we boosted the car to see if it would start (it did). Phoned Erika - she said to bring the car down for a diagnostic check (this is about 1:30 in the afternoon). She told me that she couldn't promise the car would be looked at today, but it would be kept in the shop overnight if the work could not be done. Anyways, she phoned back by 4pm. Load diagnostics were done, and battery was replaced on warranty. FANTASTIC SERVICE ! Above and beyond what is expected from dealerships. Highly recommend talking to Erika - she is always pleasant to deal with. More

A service advisor greets and approaches you immediately upon driving your vehicle into the garage - so you're not left wondering what to do or who you should approach. They call you when they say they are going to call and are always diligent to get your vehicle back to you before the time you have specified. The service advisor asks you to meet them when you come back in to pick-up your vehicle, and goes through your paperwork with you and then walks with you to show you where your vehicle is parked. They truly act out, that your business and satisfaction as a customer is important to them. More
