Bad to the bone and back again I've honestly never found a worst dealership to bring your money too. They will give you an appointment that they won't respect. They will sell you a car that has a transmission issue without it being known ( ford fiesta) They will treat you like xxxx, leave you carless once your trouble start appearing. Customer service is good 15 minutes and stops as soon as you signed your contract. Ford Lasalle sells lemon and won't even serve you a cold lemonade Spread the word. More

I walked away from a $40,000 vehicle and cancelled my deposit because I was treated so badly! Details: I made an appointment to come and drive the truck the following week. I should have known I was going to have a bad experience right from the start. When I arrived at the appointed time, Serge, the only person in view at the time, clearly had no idea that I was coming. The vehicle was not prepped and ready, and I was not greeted by a sales manager as promised in the email confirmation from customer service, and the vehicle was clearly not ready for a test drive. In fact, it was outside with about 4 inches of snow on it. This was the first time (of 5 occasions) that Lasalle Ford, or one of their emplyees did not keep their word! Serge and I proceeded to clear the snow off the car and warm it up. This actually turned out to be a good opportunity to view the vehicle and check for scratches and dents, still, it was an interesting foreshadowing of how Lasalle Ford treats customers in that they did not honour their word as promised by Gabrielle. The test drive went well. I noted right away that the vehicle did not have snow tires, and even joked with Serge that if we got a ticket, they would have to pay it. During the drive, I told Serge that 4 snow tires were going to have to be provided, and Serge answered that that would be "no problem". Interestingly, while Serge chatted during the test drive, he indicated that this was his very first day as a salesperson, he had previously worked on the dealer's website. After the test drive, we settled into Serge's office to, presumably negotiate. Serge's newness immediately revealed itself as he fumbled with his computer to bring up AutoTrader and see what other vehicles were available in the area. Presumably, if he had been advised of my coming, he could have skipped this step. Finally, after repeated failed searches on AutoTrader, I shared with him the complete list of what was available in the area, to which he was visibly relieved. I told him, that his price/vehicle combination was among the highest on the site. With this information, he left his office with my list in hand, and for the first of several times left me sitting and waiting for him. It was going on 45 minutes, and other than beads of sweat forming on a flustered Serge, who clearly had no sales training whatsoever before being thrown on the front lines, I was not further ahead in negotiating a price. this is when Jerome, introduced as the director of sales, stepped in. With Jerome, the negotiation finally moved forward. He lowered the price by $1000, bringing the price of the truck to $40,000. Not much, but I figured that with the tires Serge had offered, it was an ok offer. Then, Jerome says about the tires "Serge is new, we don't have tires here for the truck, we cannot include them as this represents a cost of $1500". Surprised that Jerome would not back up the word of his colleague Serge, I was taken aback somewhat, but weighing the fact that I did not have the time to shop elsewhere, and the value of buying an inspected vehicle from a dealership, I agreed to the negotiated price on the basis that Jerome promised me 4 winter tires installed at the dealership "cost price", which he promised to provide to me. In closing the deal, I mentioned to Jerome, as a favour so they could take corrective action, that nobody was aware that I was coming to test the vehicle, and that I had to clear the snow off. To this, he responded "a $1000 discount, is that enough to cover the fact you had to clear the snow off the truck?". I was speechless, while I again considered walking out. I should have. Jerome did not keep the word of his colleague, and now he was just being rude. I did a quick calculation of the cost price of four tires based on numbers provided by a friend who has a garage, and decided, again, to continue with the deal. On my way to being escorted to another building to meet with the finance manager, I am informed by Serge that his shift is over and he is leaving!, and I am left sitting alone waiting for the finance manager. Really? what other business sells you a $40,000 item, and doesn't wait 5 minutes to see the transaction through? The meeting with Alexandre in finance went well, and when I asked him if the car was going to be re-inspected before delivery, as Serge had indicated earlier, Alexandre said "your salesperson could answer that", so I told him I can't ask Serge anymore, he had bailed and gone home. Alexandre reassured me by saying in French "at Lasalle Ford we always keep our word". Really? someone should tell Jerome! So I left Lasalle Ford, not feeling good about the negotiation, but happy to be done with what had become a 3 hour long frustrating ordeal, Then it got worse. After 48 hours, Jerome had yet to make good on his promise to let me know the price and model of the winter tires, so I e-mailed the only person who had provided me a means of follow up communication, Alexandre, to again ask his colleague. To this, I got the following e-mail: Bf goodrich all terrain t/à ko 2 Retail 366 plus taxes Lasalle Ford price 318 each plus taxes plus install 99.95 plus taxes No greeting, no signature, and an insulting lie about the "cost price". I am not aware of any ratailer, anywhere, that pays anywhere NEAR $318 for this tire. I sent an e-mail outlining my terrible experience with Lasalle Ford and copied the general manager. The next morning, I get a call from Jerome, who offers me to waive the $100 installation!!!!!! Incredible. he asked me what would make me happy, I told him him that he was expected to honour the word of his colleague Serge: 4 winter tires installed! I said that I either wanted a call from the boss of my $1000 deposit back. He said I would get both. 20 minutes later, he again doesn't keep his word! It's Jerome on the phone, and now he's offering hald off the price of the tiires (his inflated price). I told him I want my deposit back, and I want an e-mail showing the refund. Still don't have the e-mail, but why would I expect them to keep their word now????? More

Especially their Financial Advisers as they do not have a, and I repeat they have ZERO CLUE of how to proceed with newcomers and will surely give you extremely bad advice like they just did to me. Let me explain and tell you the experience I had with them : I was looking at acquiring a 2014 Ford Escape SE 1.6L ecoboost 2WD. Coming from Europe, I was granted a 1 year work permit but I also have a permanent work contract with a relatively comfortable salary. I was advised twice that regardless of a permanent contract I had only 2 options for acquiring this car. Either a 2 years pre-paid lease or just pay the car upfront in total. I was fine with these options. I then booked an appointment and once there on site I was quickly taken in. I was advised very strongly that I shouldn't buy the car upfront and that I should go for the pre-paid lease. We discussed quite some time on the subject so I would know clearly what I was getting into. I then decided to follow their advice as this would have saved me spending a larger amount of money as I had barely spent time in Canada. I then went and met their financial advisor to go through the paperwork. I submitted everything to her which she photocopied. I then went home waiting for news the next day. 4 Days later still no news so I called them up. Oh yes I forgot to mention that they NEVER call back, I always had to call them to get updates on the situation. So I call them to enquire about what was happening as I didn't have any news. She responds saying she lacks some paperwork from me, paperwork she did photocopy a few days earlier. Never mind I transmit her the missing documents by email and wait. 4 more days have passed and still no news. I call back and this time they tell me that my SIN number is incorrect. Strangely enough she had a wrong number, even though I had sent her the number written via email. This proves that their organisation skills are top notch. Nevertheless I decided to give her the number by phone and check at the same time my email to make sure the number I sent her was correct, which it was. Before hanging up she tells me she should have an answer within the hour. 1 more day has passed and still no new updates. So again for the nth time I call back and there she tells me that Ford declined my pre-paid lease. So I ask her then I need to buy the car upfront. Against what the initial advisers told me by phone at the beginning she tells me I could get a loan on the car and that it is imperative I do not buy this car upfront. She makes a big fuss about the whole thing. Anyway OK lets go for financing. She then tells me she will check with the banks and get back to me and call me back as soon as she has updates. After a few hours I was getting really exasperated by their UNWILLINGNESS TO COMMUNICATE, I called back. I was then very quickly brushed off saying that I can't get a loan and that I should buy the car in full upfront and they hangup, all this given the fact that they insisted so much during these 10 days that I should buy the car upfront. I have lost 10 days of my time with their xxxxxxxx I have been charged by my bank for transferring funds internationally but now I need to transfer even more money as I didn't transfer enough the first time for a full upfront car payment, which will incur more bank charges. I am still in process of buying this car upfront but it is in a different Dealership. These guys are Jokes and you can't trust them. On the plus side I'm relieved that Lassale Ford's Financial Advisers only work in a xxxxty dealership instead of big financial institutions otherwise the Economical world would have been annihilated. Évitez a tout prix ce concessionnaire !!! Je vais vous expliquer et vous raconter mon expérience : En effet je cherchais a me procurer une Ford Escape SE 2014 1.6L ecoboost 2WD. On m'a conseiller a 2 reprises que malgré ça je n'avais que 2 options. Faire une location Prépayée, ou un achat comptant. J’étais OK avec les options présentées a moi. Je prend donc rendez vous et une fois chez le concessionnaire j'ai été vite pris en charge. J'ai ensuite était vivement conseiller de ne vraiment pas acheter la voiture comptant et que la location prépayer été préférable nous avons débattu a ce sujet pour que je comprenne bien tous les aspects de ce que j'allais entreprendre. J'ai donc décider de suivre leur conseille car cela m'aurai éviter débourser une forte somme a peine arrivée au Canada. Leur directrice Financière me reçoit pour les papiers et la documentation que je fournis et qu'elle photocopie. Et je rentre chez moi attendant des nouvelles 4 Jours après toujours pas de nouvelle, (Ah oui j'ai oublier de vous dire qu'il ne vous rappelle JAMAIS il faut toujours les appeler pour avoir des nouvelles). Je rappelle donc pour savoir ce qu'il en ai. Apparemment il lui manque des documents, documents qu'elle a bel et bien photocopiés quelque jours auparavant. C'est pas grave je lui retransmet les documents par courriel. 4 Jours plus tard encore pas de nouvelle. Je rappelle donc et la elle me dis que mon numéro de NAS est incorrect. Bizarrement elle avait un mauvais numéro alors que j'avais envoyer par courriel ce numéro. Elle commence a me mettre le doute. Je lui redonne le numéro par téléphone, et je revérifie bien que j'ai envoyer le bon numéro qui était bon. D’où elle a sorti l'autre numéro je n'en sais rien. Ça prouve que leur organisation est au TOP. Bref avant de raccrocher elle me dis qu'elle me rappelle dans l'heure. 1 jours plus tard toujours RIEN, je la rappelle donc et la elle me dit que Ford a décliné ma demande de location Prépayé. Alors je lui dis que je dois payer comptant alors. Et la a l'inverse de ce que les conseillers initiaux ont dis elle continue de me dire et me fait tout un serment que c'est une très mauvaise idée d'acheter un voiture comptant et qu'il serait mieux de faire un financement. Elle rajoute qu'elle va appeler la banque etc et qu'elle me rappellera aussi tôt. Plusieurs heures plus tard exaspérer par leur NON COMMUNCATION GENERAL je rappelle pour vite fait me dire que je ne peux pas et qu'il va falloir que je l’achète comptant, malgré leur insistance depuis 10 jours a ne pas vouloir me la vendre comptant. Voilà 10 jours de perdu avec leur conneries. J'ai du payer déjà les frais de transfert d'argent depuis mon compte au Royaume Unis mais comme je dois a présent acheter la voiture comptant je dois transferer d'avantage d'argent et du coup d'avantage de frais. Je suis a présent sur le point de me procurer la même voiture comptant mais dans un autre concessionnaire. Car celui ci c'est vraiment une blague et je ne leur ferai aucunement confiance. D'un cote çà me rassure car je me dis que c'est tant mieux si les directeurs financier de Lassale Ford travaillais dans un pauvre concessionnaire auto plutôt que dans de grandes institution financière car le monde économique en serait anéanti. Bref... Nouvel arrivant, passe ton chemin !!! More

When I returned they told me it would cost at least another $400 to repair it. The service manager wouldn't budge. Visiting Lasalle Ford is like taking money out of an ATM and burning it. Next time I will go to another Ford dealership. More
