This dealership refused to fix my 2023 Sportage after 7-8 months of repairs. Just bought a 2023 Kia Sorento and the customer service was by far the best I have had out of the 3 Kia dealerships I went to. Matt, Aaron and Colin were all so easy to talk to and super friendly. Matt f was by far the best I have had out of the 3 Kia dealerships I went to. Matt, Aaron and Colin were all so easy to talk to and super friendly. Matt felt like a buddy I knew for years and everything has been great this far. The purchase to the pick up was seamless. Aaron came out and introduced himself right away and made me feel at ease on my purchase. I have been shopping for a KIA since June 2022 and this is by far the best dealership around the area. I highly recommend these guys for your next purchase! More
Unfortunately ran into numerous issues dealing with the manager Aaron and finance guy, Colin. Upon receiving my vehicle within 24 hours I notified them of a few issues, the trunk would not open or close r manager Aaron and finance guy, Colin. Upon receiving my vehicle within 24 hours I notified them of a few issues, the trunk would not open or close reliably, often times getting stuck and unable to operate at all, the coolant was below the minimum mark by a substantial amount, and to top it all off my tires were 6 years old and one of them was actually losing air from the sidewall due to cracks in the tread, due to the lug nuts being swollen I was not even able to use regular shop tools to remove the lug nuts. I made them aware of the issues and since I live about 2 hours away Aaron said he would send me five hundred dollars to put towards the issues I am having. After a week with the vehicle I concluded the repairs necessary are going to cost me over one thousand to fix, and Aaron essentially said that by taking the five hundred he offered me I had accepted all responsibility of cost of repairs (I definitely made sure not to agree to such BS) Mind you this vehicle was advertised as being sold certified and safetied. Upon reading into my warranty terms paperwork I could see a number of exclusions that were not mentioned to me even when I explicitly asked. So I called them to let them know I would like to cancel the warranty as per the contract I have 30 days to do so. They tried to con me into letting them deduct one thousand four hundred from the warranty refund because they gave me other discounts and suggested the five hundred that they sent was out of their profits thus if I cancel a warranty their good faith gesture is now null and void. Once they realized OMVIC was tagged in our email thread they discontinued emails and only called me. Which I have recordings of. I fought them and threatened them with OMVIC for selling vehicles with false safety certifications and they suddenly changed their mind on my refund. Needless to say now here I am a month later stuck waiting for someone to come boost me, because the vehicle sat on their lot with a flat battery for 5 months. Another thing I should not be replacing the first month of ownership. There’s so much more I’d like to say, but no space to do so. The salesperson I dealt with- Matt B was very helpful and did a great job- Aaron and Colin just completely dropped the ball on this one. Kitchener Kia- this is a classic case of FA, AFO More
Recently I had concerns about warranties on my 2015 Kia Soul. The dealership that I purchased it from were not at all helpful. I called Kitchener Kia and spoke with Tim and Mike. Go in for parts and over pay because you are not getting the work done there. . They asked what I needed it for and that shouldn't matter. Mike Lapierre and his team made me feel reassured and confident from the moment I entered the dealership with my auto problems. They treated me like family. Communication was excellent. Wow is all I can say. Took my young son to purchase his first car. Walked in and sales rep was very nice. When sales manager came over and described the car he proceeded to say in a very rude voice that he first car. Walked in and sales rep was very nice. When sales manager came over and described the car he proceeded to say in a very rude voice that he will not discount the car prior to me even asking for best price. I responded by telling him that I have never even asked about price. Said that he was not wasting our time. He was even nice enough to tell me that if I went somewhere else that Kia Waterloo was owned by same ownership so if I bought it there than his dealership ownership will still get the sale. Getting upset with this rude behaviour I said I would not even consider buying from this ownership and he said go buy it in Toronto then. At this point the sales rep didn’t know what to say and I just got up and left. My son was shocked about this first experience. Since he loved the car we did not let this change our buy decision so proceeded to Cambridge Kia. What a difference. From the moment we walked in the receptionist made us feel welcomed and they wanted our business. The sales rep was amazing and the sales manager was very professional. In the end we purchased the vehicle. I would never walk into Kia Kitchener after my experience this past Monday evening. If there management can be that rude I can only imagine what the after service will be. I’m glad this first experience still allowed my son to ultimately enjoy purchasing his first car. Congrats to Cambridge Kia for listening to our experience at Kitchener and making it end much better. More
