I walked in and right away the receptionist greeted me nicely and got me a salesperson right away. They were out cleaning the cars off from the big winter storm we got and for that were quite quick to get to me. She offered my son hot chocolate, myself coffee, and was just overall so kind. The lady who sales the car came up so apologetic and polite. She was so kind and cared about my questions more than hers. She never talked over me, and let me ask any questions I needed answered. She made feel confident that the car was already mine. She went over many options with me which would fit to my standard. She made many suggestions but never pushed anything she just simply said is this something you would be interested in. With her eagerness to help and promising attitude she made me feel excited to purchase a new car for my little family. She was so sweet and patient with my son. We went for a test drive and the car drove absolutely amazing. Everyone in that place smiled at me and they were all nice congratulating me but I haven't even been through the fiance part. Am I even going to be approved? I went in with no confidence, wanting pre-owned but I applied for a new car. I walked out smiling from ear to ear and was there for a good 3 hrs. I was still unsure if I even got the car. I am still waiting for my response if I did. I was so shocked for the amount they offered me for my cheap 2002 Chrysler Neon, which is not deserving of any cost to be quite honest. So I was happy with that as well and was able to install a starter for my car which is convenient for me. With that said, I may not get approved and I spent 3 hrs there of our time. If I don't get approved would I be upset? Yes, but at the same time I don't regret my time there as they were all truly amazing. I am not sure how anyone here had a horrible experience because everyone there was so kind and patient. Also I don't normally leave reviews, but seeing this I just had to. Best experience ever and so pleased. Thank you Hyundai Canada at Alpine in Kitchener. You guys deserve better reviews! I am 28 years old and I applied for a 2015 Hyundai Elantra GL in black. After all my questions answered I knew that was the best decision for me because I was comfortable with how I felt about it all. Thank you kindly. Fingers crossed! :D More
Sales guy basically closed the door in my face! On the Saturday of a long weekend my wife and I took a used 2013 Elantra Ltd for a test drive that was on the lot of the Ford dealer right across from On the Saturday of a long weekend my wife and I took a used 2013 Elantra Ltd for a test drive that was on the lot of the Ford dealer right across from Kitchener Hyundai. The sales guy at the Ford place was pushing hard for us to buy a used Fusion insinuating that the Elantra was an inferior product so we walked across the lot to the Hyundai Dealer to see if we could test drive a 2014. We arrived @ 3:10 on a Saturday afternoon and the "salesman" advised us through the half open door that they were closed. When I pointed to the sign that clearly indicated they were open until 5:00 he said "we're closing up early 'cause it's the long weekend ". I advised him that we had just driven the 2013 and pointed to it sitting on the other side of his lot and that we wanted to test drive a new one he responded with "we're open Monday". When I informed him that we both work Monday he said "we're open 'til 8:00". Not being one to surrender easily I stated "So you don't want to sell me a car today?" to whichever responded "come back next week" We ended up buying the 2013 from the Ford Dealer a week or so later. Steer clear of these guys, don't be fooled by the "New Owner I have purchased 2 used cars in the past from Alpine Hyundai (same location). I thought the new ownership would have improved things but it's not the case. The sales team is way off on calculations and they low ball your trade-in, I was even told "once we get your car we will call the scrap yard and they will tow it away to be crushed".... VERY rude! Yes I'm looking for a new car, but I still have an attachment to my current car. I am now going to go to another city and buy a Hyundai, I love the cars but I refuse to buy from poor customer service companies. I was looking to buy 2 brand new cars and my "repeat customer" discount was only $139. That's a slap in the face along with the low ball trade ins on our two cars. More
Integrity means everything and when that is compromised, so does any further trust in a company. Customer satisfaction should be their first priority. I didn't see that. Honoring what is verbally promised r so does any further trust in a company. Customer satisfaction should be their first priority. I didn't see that. Honoring what is verbally promised rather than have something show up on the bill that was given as free and then reneged on while trying to placate the customer with an excuse that had nothing to do with their promise isn't impressive. Pressure sale techniques are not impressive. Not doing everything to find the customer the car they request (ie the colour requested) isn't impressive. I would have been satisfied with the sales person saying " the company wants to rid themselves of the current inventory and we don't have that color, would you be OK with x colour vs we don't have that colour and it will cost more to bring one in" is disturbing. (I was fine with any colour or would have walked). Lowballing is also not an attractive quality when bringing in a trade.Yes, you do want to pay as little as possible and make as much as possible. Remember, the customer also has access to the Canadian black book. Why did I purchase? Convenience, satisfaction of the vehicle being purchased, and trust in the friend referral of the company overall. Time will tell the rest of the story but I won't purchase my next vehicle there. It is amazing how a sales experience can make all the difference in making purchases. A person could be buying the best product on the market and choose not to based on the sales tactics. More
