He was exceptional from the moment we met him, right up to the follow-up call several hours after we left the lot to make sure we were happy with our vehicle's first drive. He was patient, answered every question as if it were our first, and we didn't feel "sales pressure" at any point. He even called us the morning after our first visit to the lot to advise us that the cost of the vehicle had dropped because of some new incentives from the manufacturer! The entire sales process was straight forward even with a trade-in. My spouse even said on the way home "wow, that was way easier than I thought it was going to be". The exceptional rating this dealership has is accurate, in our opinion. While we didn't deal with any others in detail, everyone we met was extremely friendly. I read a review here a while ago that said something like "I even questioned if I was at a car dealership"...100% accurate statement - these guys have redefined the process of buying a car to what it should be. I do apologize for taking so long to fill out this survey, it's just been a heck-tick time and I left right after I purchased the car. Not sure if I'm aloud to put this here but I drove the car from Ontario to Alberta.. Red Deer specifically, when I arrived I had a pretty significant shaking problem, I took it to the car wash (manual wash) to clean it out as I figured it could be dirt from the 4000KM drive, the shaking persisted so when it arrived the dealership(North dodge red deer) told me if it was dirt and they cleaned it they would charge me 80$, I explained I did the best I could to look after it myself so if it was dirt to just give me the car back and I would deal with it myself, I just wanted to be sure. They inspected the wheels (took them off) they didn't do a balance check, they just came back to me and told me it was dirt, I said alright I'll go take it to the wash it's not a problem, if the problem re-occurs then I'll come back. They went on to tell me that even with the extra 5-year warranty I purchased with Dodge, I would still have to pay a diagnostic fee of 35$ because there was no mechanical problem. I refused to pay because I did my due diligence and the guy in the service department handed me my keys and told me to take my buisiness elsewhere.. So my question is this : If I do the best I can to take care of my car, I'm not a vehicle guy and attempted, do I have to allow my car to break down before I can take it to the dealership? How am I to know when something is wrong and who is some service guy to tell me, the guy that make sure he has a job to go take my business elsewhere? More
