Service Department This was my first experience with Kingston Toyota after I bought a used Corolla from Kingston Dodge. I thought it would be a good idea to get Toyota " This was my first experience with Kingston Toyota after I bought a used Corolla from Kingston Dodge. I thought it would be a good idea to get Toyota "experts" to do the service and it was due for an oil change. The SRS air bag light had come on so I asked them to look at it. They said it was a $100 diagnosis fee, pretty steep I thought but I just wanted it fixed. They called me 3 hours later to inform me that they had spent an hour reading the codes, taking the bumper off to access the sensor and looking at the wires under the steering wheel around the fuse box. They had noticed some rodent damage on some wires but needed to get behind the fuse box to find out what was wrong and it was going to take them another 2 hours and an additional $200 just for the diagnosis. That seems like a little much to me and it's not clear at the outset that the "diagnosis fee" is just for one hour of labour to try and find the problem and if they don't find it in that time they're going to come back to the well for more time and money to continue diagnosing. In my mind a standard diagnosis fee should take into account all the things that might need to be checked, and if you pay the fee you'll get a diagnosis, so I payed $100 and didn't get a diagnosis. I won't be going back. More

Service appointments I wanted an oil and transmission fluid change on my 2010 Camry .I had to wait 17 days to get in for the service. They also wanted to do a transmission I wanted an oil and transmission fluid change on my 2010 Camry .I had to wait 17 days to get in for the service. They also wanted to do a transmission flush, it is not recommended. It is strictly a drain and fill. Belleville was not much better. I happened to be visiting Peterborough and called Russelle Toyota beforehand. A 2 day wait , they only do drain and fill and the price was extremely lower. This is not the first time I have called for service and had to wait at least 2 weeks to get in. More

Chiselled on this occassion Purchased 3 new Toyotas in 9 years and was looking for another one while waiting. They charged for 8th oil change already paid by the / extended war Purchased 3 new Toyotas in 9 years and was looking for another one while waiting. They charged for 8th oil change already paid by the / extended warranty included oil change.. They claimed we were 3 days late. Will pursue the matter. (corp office,blog). The car has a total of 25,800 kilometers and had a total of 8 oil changes. Extended warranty in effect for a total of 7 years. When we paid for it, no one mentioned the "3 days over the limit stipulation. They tried this once before and charged for the already covered oil change. We complained and they corrected the situation. Bad business practice. Friends and relatives interested in outcome. My blog has thousands of readers. However, I did not write about this unresolved matter. Yesterday I called the dealer. Was told manager will call tomorrow. The day came and went and Toyota did not call. back. Sincerely O.M.F. More
