Bought my first car Mazda 3 from Kingston Mazda after a lot of research. Dimitri and both Dave's worked hard to give me the best price possible and I was really happy with their after sales service. After Covid-19 hit the whole world things started changing. The service department started making service recommendations worth 100's of $$ which is not needed for my car. First quarter of this year, went in for annual services paid big bucks and the day after that ABS warning turned on. Low brake oil warning came up on screen, went to Kingston Mazda again. They said it needs to be inspected, hour later they said brake oil is low for no reason. charged $55 for inspection. In Aug 2021, thought of changing my car and I made a mistake going back to Kingston Mazda. Got quote for CX30 Crystal Blue car but I needed a black one. They didn't had a black one in the lot, so raised the price for bring in a car from another place. I paid $233 extra for black color. On the day of delivery (Aug 28th) I got a car which is extremely dirty under the hood and underneath the car and noticeable rust on metal parts. As soon as I got delivery, I went in for a car wash. Front tires was overfilled with air and one tire got tear on the sidewalls(didn't hit anywhere). Informed Kingston Mazda, Mazda Canada, Bridgestone haven't received any helpful response. After Making a ton of calls, found the same brand tire and ordered myself. Talked to the sales person, arranged a full detailing service today. Went in at 8.00 am, they said I have no appointment booked. After explaining the whole story they agreed to do a detailing service. Recommended Kingston Mazda to more than 15 friends till 2020 and they all got car from there. NEVER AGAIN. Mazda make good cars but if you care about your hard earned money, time and service DON'T GO to Kingston Mazda. More
Dealing with Christian at Kingston Mazda was great. He was very professional and knowledgeable and went out of his way to answer my many questions. I really appreciated Christian's friendly and helpful ma was very professional and knowledgeable and went out of his way to answer my many questions. I really appreciated Christian's friendly and helpful manner. He and Marion were also helpful and efficient in dealing with payments and paperwork. I highly recommend Christian and thank him for making my car buying experience a pleasure. More
Absolutely no customer service ethic whatsoever Chose Kingston Mazda even though we are from Ottawa area. Picked up two brand new cars. Arrived to see dust that looked like they attempted to wipe Chose Kingston Mazda even though we are from Ottawa area. Picked up two brand new cars. Arrived to see dust that looked like they attempted to wipe it off and to see an abrasion on the door of one vehicle which we pointed out. They attempted to buff it out, made a small difference, they couldn't get it all out because body shop people were not in (it was Saturday) okay I get it..what I don't get is how do you miss this prior to delivery when I was told they went over the car "with a fine tooth comb". Also missed was a chip in the windshield directly in line with a line of mud missed at clean up as it could only be seen if the hood was lifted. Left dealership just after noon..emailed our sales person at 12:29 about a shimmy in the car and I didn't want to be told it wasn't covered. Was Told by Jordan to take it to Mazda in Ottawa and they would cover the costs, likely tires need to be balanced (shouldn't the car be delivered with balanced tires?). Later into drive home the sun hit the windshield pointing out the chip. Called Jordan back and was told was told that must have happened after we left dealership. Once home and able investigate the mud was discovered and reported with pictures to Jordan. Never heard anything back from Kingston Mazda. Mazda in Ottawa tells us one tire has a flat spot (most common cause according to Google is the car is left in one spot too long) causing the shimmy and they called Kingston Mazda for authorization. We are told that Kingston Mazda will do nothing. Was told by both the General Manager and the Owner that we must have hit something . So now I am responsible for two new tires(tires should be replaced in pairs) on a car that I assumed the dealer would have stood behind as issue was reported within 30 minutes from pulling off the lot. It must be noted that the weather that day was a beautiful clear day, nothing on the roads. This is the service I get for selecting their dealership to purchase 2 cars, wonder what would happen if I only purchased 1? More
Incompetent service staff I had my vehicle in for a regularly scheduled oil change and service on a Thursday. The woman at the service desk ran me through what was done saying I had my vehicle in for a regularly scheduled oil change and service on a Thursday. The woman at the service desk ran me through what was done saying all fluid levels, engine checks and inspections were all good. 5 km down the road the check engine light comes on. I book a new appointment with them for the following monday for 11 am. I arrive, explain how the light came on after just leaving the previous appointment. She says no problem well have them look at it right away. 2 hrs roll by sitting in the waiting room. I check with the desk on the status of the car, the guy behind the desk says it hasn't even been brought into the garage yet. And I've been sitting here for 2 hours! They're explanation was that the service team goes on lunch at noon. And my appointment was for 11 so i don't know how that logic works. So now I'm waiting here for even longer... going to have to pay 110$ just to check this engine light not counting any possible repairs... never coming back to this place again. They're clueless and great at wasting everyones time. More

He was not at all pushy, nor reluctant to let us take out a CX-5 without him, unlike one of the other dealerships, with someone who talked incessantly during the test drive, and distracted me...! Dimitri answered all our questions, and kept us updated through emails and phone calls about the status of our vehicle, after its purchase. We love our CX-5 so much that we contacted Dimitri to keep us posted about a possible Mazda 2; long story short, Dimitri came through for us with our second Mazda, a great quality used vehicle! More

I feel everyone should be made aware of how poorly this specific car dealership in Kingston operates. I went in looking for a decent car, an upgrade to what I am currently am driving. I was approached by an employee named Jordan who basically told me he could help me find what I'm looking for here. When we went around looking at the different vehicles Jordan was unable to answer most of my questions regarding pretty much anything. I personally don't know much about cars but it seemed that this employee knew even less which was very surprising. Every time I had a question about a different vehicle I was given unsure answers or incorrect answers. The only factual information I was given when browsing around was just basic information. I probably wasted around an hour and 30 minutes there in total. I had even asked Jordan if he could show me some cars that have low KM and he kept bringing me to vehicles with 100-250 thousand KM on them. After realizing how inexperienced and unprofessional the dealership was I just said thanks and left. I'm not sure why Mazda would hire someone who is obviously not qualified for the job. This employee is in charges of sales or something like that and doesn't know much on the product they are selling. Very bad experience here and would highly recommend that nobody goes here looking for a vehicle. More

Long story short, went in for a service and wound up selling my CX-5 and leasing a brand new Mazda6. The whole process from start to finish was done so professionally, everyone I was in contact with there felt like they enjoyed working there and it was evident in the service I was provided. Even the owner/manager came to introduce himself. The communication from the onset was amazing, and everything from beginning to car pickup was effortless. Truly a great dealership which is obviously managed well and the service associates/sales staff are fantastic. More
