I made a counter offer, and they came back with the exact same offer worded differently (bi-weekly payments instead of monthly payments, a classic immoral trick). I left at that moment, as I don't deal with dishonest people. They clearly tried to take advantage of me, and would never do business with them. Now I'm pondering whether it's better to show them that you know the right prices and everything, or if you should play the naive card to detect the dishonest car dealers. More
