In August 2013 I had enough of the constant repairs of my aging Mercedes and decided to lease a Ford Edge from Key West Ford. First of all the AWD Ford Edge Sport was an excellent choice. Its fast and comfortable to drive and now I have a single payment of under $1000 compared to the ever mounting bills of the Benz - plus it starts every time and doesn't break down. Its been over 6 months and we still love our Edge. Flynn and his team were very helpful getting us on the road as fast as we could once we made the decision to lease and the service department is all I could ask for getting the vehicle in for service and out as fast as they can. They even wash and vacuum the vehicle after every service. I send anyone I know that is looking to purchase or lease a vehicle to Key West Ford. More

After looking around the dealership for about 10 minutes, we finally come across a 'sales' guy. Told him what we were looking for and he says ' we don't sell cars with such pricing'. I had to show him their website and the car to convince him. Then he goes 'we don't have it anymore....but I'll still go and check'. We found the vehicle ourselves and showed it to him on THEIR inventory list. We go for a test drive and ask him to work the figures out. He then takes our vehicle to give us a trade appraisal. We asked him for figures....he goes ' I have to sign some documents first' - I told him, I'm not signing anything. Then he goes he needs my credit card details. WHY?? coz 'we can't quote unless we have that' - Really????? He gives me some ridiculous amounts and tells me to sign some documents and give him my credit card details. He then tells me that he is doing me a favor by taking my car as it will go to the junk yard then goes 'you can keep your car, we'll still you a $500 value as a discount' By this time we had spent 2.5Hrs there and I lost it. I took my keys and started walking out when I noticed one of their vehicles was blocking us, I go back in and he is talking on the phone to his manager bad mouthing me. He looks at me and continues. I got more furious and asked him to move the car, he then comes out with registration documents to my vehicle. WHY would he remove my documents without even asking or telling me????? It's coming to 3 hours now........and as we were about to drive off, another sales guy claiming to be a 'manager' comes to me and talks me into going back to the office to 'sort' the matter out. Nothing was sorted out. NEVER AGAIN! More

Called and spoke with Noella, and asked for information on a used vehicle on their lot. She didn't seem too interested in helping me. Ad on website and Kijiji didn't have price, just "call for info". When I mentioned a similar vehicle at a different dealership, she stated that, although that other dealership is owned by the same owners as Key West, that the price was probably cheaper because of hidden damage. Noella stated she would get back to me within the hour with the information I requested. 20 hrs later, no response. I called and asked to speak to a manager, and spoke with Cam, who said he was an assistant GM. When I advised him that I hadn't heard back from Noella, he said he would look into it. He called back 5 minutes later, and said that Noella told him she had called me back, and that I told her I wasn't interested. I assured him that I hadn't spoken to her, or otherwise I wouldn't have called. He stated that she was standing right in front of him, and that she is "religious" and he is pretty sure she wouldn't lie. I told him that she was a liar, that she never called me back, and that if she was indicative of the staff and service there, that I would go somewhere else. Avoid at all costs. More

I bought a used 2007 Honda Fit at Key West in March, 2013. I declined the extra cost warranty, and just went with the basic Lubrico one that comes with the car. In May 2013, the engine light came on and the transmission started shifting very hard. On that day, I had to be somewhere in a couple of hours, and Key West set me up with a loaner right away, so I made it in time. They had to send the car out to get the transmission fixed, which took about 5 days, during which time I had the loaner. The repair was completely covered by the warranty, and when I went to pick up the car I expected to pay the $100 deductible, but that had also been covered. Anyway, used car, transmission goes --- Did not lose any time at all as they gave me a loaner, and the car fixed with all costs covered. Potentially stressful situation completely trouble-free. More
