I tried in the pars to purchase a diesel pickup truck at this dealership in 2007. I found Kelowna Dodge terriable to deal with. Customer service is very poor here. I ended up purchasing my truck up the road this dealership in 2007. I found Kelowna Dodge terriable to deal with. Customer service is very poor here. I ended up purchasing my truck up the road in Vernon. I know the same person owns both, but customer service is practiced in Vernon. So this past week I phoned Kelowna Dodge about my options of trading my truck in. I was upfront and told Rick that I just want to know what my 2007 5.9L Larmie 4x4 was worth in today's market, what my payment options would be on a 2011 hemi pickup. I was told to come on down so that he could see the truck and we could talk. I arrived at the dealership in a hours time. Went through the motions with a sales person, drove a pickup, talked etc. this sales person asked me if we would be making a deal today. I of course said NO, I just wanted the info so I could decide if buying new again is in my best interest. We got back to the dealership and the sales person spoke to Rick and they came outside too speak with me. Rick informed me that he wouldn't give me any numbers, unless I was prepared to purchase a new truck that day. His reasoning was that I'd head to the next dealership and get a better price. Wasn't my plan, but if I did! That business! Forcing customers to make rushed decisions on the 2nd largest purchase they will ever make, is a freaking joke. I would like to thank Rick for refreshing my memory, I now recall how unpleasant trying to buy a truck at Kelowna Dodge is. BEST DEAL IN BC, ya right! Try treating your customers, like customers Kelowna Dodge! And not like dollar signs. By the way Rick, think I'll just keep the truck I own. It was my 4th dodge pickup and my last. I don't ever plan on leaving a penny of my future earnings at this dealership. Cheers, Dale More
