The tailgate on our GMC Sierra 1500 came off its hinges and broke down at Costco across the street and GMC wasn’t able to pick up our call. When we offered to pay them something for the service, they told us not to worry about it and they were happy to help. I have been waiting for weeks for a call back from September to get my car dealt with. After having a bad experience with trading in my 2015 Equinox for a 2019 Equinox I swore I’d never go back. But I was having issues with my exhaust leaking under the hood and figured it would be covered Equinox for a 2019 Equinox I swore I’d never go back. But I was having issues with my exhaust leaking under the hood and figured it would be covered under warranty. They had my vehicle for a full day and offered a health check while it was in. They claimed to not be able to find the leak and told me it was road salt I could smell and not leaking exhaust. I am very knowledgeable in vehicle repairs and normally do all my own work, I am not an idiot and brought it in for the warranty of buying a vehicle from them. After getting it back home I had found the exhaust manifold was leaking, a new gasket and the smell went away, just road salt causing the issue eh?????. As for the vehicle health check it was like it was done for another vehicle and just slapped together to prove they actually did something while they had my car all day, what a crock. Lied about my brake pads needing replacement, tire pressure and did not top up washer fluid as they stated. Shady dealership. Wanted to charge me $170 to store my vehicle for a day. More
