Upset Woman, After reviewing all emails sent back and forth, I have come to the conclusion that there was a major breakdown in communication on our part. You brought the vehicle in with a code that you instructed our service writer to look into, which must have either been obtained yourself or received from another location that deleted the code when they scanned it as our system could not pick up that code again. We were not able to complete the diagnosis and repair on the brake positioning sensor (code provided), and for that I apologize. The code we did pick up was a lean code, which we did some quick follow up to and found that there was an incorrect air filter installed (we replaced with the proper one) and since it was an easy check, we also checked the PCV return valve and found that it may have also been what triggered the lean code. This is where I believe the miscommunication occurred. I believe that our service writer said that something needed to be done, that may not have. This I cannot be sure of as we could not verify how that issue was explained. It should have been explained that the air filter likely caused the lean code and to watch for the engine light to make sure it didn't come back on, and if it did, then we would likely have to go ahead with the work quoted. Again, I apologize for the confusion. I have to believe that in no way shape or form, my staff would have tried to take advantage of you, or anyone for that matter. I am sorry that you left here with a feeling that we were trying to steal from you. I wish you many years of trouble free driving and a healthy and prosperous 2017.

Deanna, First and foremost, I want to apologize, for what in your review, appears to be a gross incompetence on our part. Sometimes staff do not understand what processes are a non negotiable and what are, in this case, I do train my staff and managers to ask if a client would like to be pre-approved for credit to assure they would get the best rates and programs that their credit would secure for them, and if the client does not want to, it is not an issue at all, and they should continue along with the sale. Second, I appreciate all the reviews, including negative ones. I am a firm believer in you either win or learn (not lose) with all opportunities. Lastly, I do remember your review, and actually thought I had responded to it as well, but when I looked into our history of reviews, I couldn't find it either. As the General Manager of the store, I am the only one who has access to the review page, and Dealerrater, from what I can tell, doesn't give the ability to delete negative reviews (if they do, I have never done so). I wish you many years of trouble free driving with your Nissan Sentra and I am glad you received great service from that dealership. I will also use your review for training purposes with my sales staff. Respectfully, Clayton
