I was ecstatic about the new C30 T5 and drove to Victoria and bought one, fully loaded -- and paid cash -- no test drive needed! The vehicle I wanted was to come from Ontario. The dealer we bought it from i and bought one, fully loaded -- and paid cash -- no test drive needed! The vehicle I wanted was to come from Ontario. The dealer we bought it from is over 2 hours drive away, so on the day we were to get the car (it was a big event for me because I never wanted a car just for me before) my dear husband went all out and chartered a plane to fly us out, and I would drive us home in my brand new car. So, we hand over $55,000 and were presented with a car with over 800 kms, that had been dented and dinged on the inside of the doors and on the dash metal accents and with many quite noticeable scuffs throughout (that I was told these did not come out by the girl who was to walk me through the car but new NOTHING about it). I was informed after everything was signed, sealed and delivered, that Volvo had a 'try me for a weekend' promotion and this vehicle had been part of that. I talked to the manager and he was so incredibly snide and rude that the experience is now a regular dinner party anecdote. It was past 5pm on a Sunday so we had no choice but to drive it home. On Monday I called everyone, from Volvo to Pattison head office, and on Tuesday I drove the car back and got my money back. I will NEVER buy from a Pattison dealer again -- it was an unbelievable horrible experience from start to finish. More
