Maintenance notification faulty Twice I have received email maintenance notifications saying I have not had my car serviced for 9 months. In each case, the last service was 3 months Twice I have received email maintenance notifications saying I have not had my car serviced for 9 months. In each case, the last service was 3 months ago. The dealership has not responded to either of my complaints about this and just shrugs it off. Don't trust the service notices! This is either incompetency or a scam. More

Always keeps me posted on the status of the car which was ordered from the factory and it normally takes 5-6 months to be delivered but came in 3 months, it was awesome and exciting to have it so soon and to drive our brand new car! My new Yaris Abraham Lee was consistantly helpful, courtious and respectful of my needs all the way through the purchasing experience. We tried out a couple of vehicles and he was very knowledgable about the vehicles. he did not push or coerse me in a direction unsuited to my needs or financial situation. The dealership is remarkablly well appointed and staffed and the whole transaction went smoothly and I was on my way home within about two hours of entering the premesis. My situation was challanging in the regard that I had a 2013 Toyota Venza that was proving beyond my student budget. I purtchased the Venza from the Duncan dealership while I was receiving sufficient income but the contract was short lived and I decided to obtain a degree as a consequence. I actually went in to the Duncan dealership to test drive a Rav 4, a vehicle ideally suited to my needs and signed a five year purchase agreement on a Venza. I take responsibility for that but it was not the direction that I was heading and would have suited me better. The Venza is a lovely vehicle but underutilized in my situation. I attempted to exchange the Venza after the first year on a student budget and found the exchange process unhelpful and discouraging. It put me off the local dealership enough to continue my relationship with Toyota in Victoria. I had been offered on the phone by the head salesman an exchange vehicle on decent terms and found when I went in, that he was gone and his offer was not respected. The greatest disappointment however is that I drove away a Venza for just over $46,000 and after two years, I was allowed less than $20,000 for an impecablly clean vehicle. one that has never been off road, nor had pets, smoked in, barely had passangers and never cad the cargo spce used beyond grocery bags. That's beyond logic and decent good business in my oppinion. Now I'm pleased with the low monthly interest rate that fits nicely into my budget and the improved fuel efficiency for my commute to VIU Nanaimo but please don't expect me to be a good advocate for Toyota vehicles to retain value. nor for the Duncan dealership to maintain a uniform policy about the particular situation I found myself in. This is the first opportunity I've taken to share my negative experience and my rlationship with Toyota and the dealerships is far from negative. The areas that work, work very well and the staff I have met have met every expectation I would expect with one exceprtion. The area that needs investigating mostly is how can a Venza lose about $10,000 a year not accounting for the two taxes which were part of of the new contract. Awesome purchase experience - 2012 Sienna Limited FANTASTIC! About a decade ago it was "love at first Sienna" for my wife and I, as we drove one (rental vehicle) to Mt. Washington for some fun on the FANTASTIC! About a decade ago it was "love at first Sienna" for my wife and I, as we drove one (rental vehicle) to Mt. Washington for some fun on the slopes. That was "pre-children", now as a family man with three kids and my wife looking after two toddlers full time we wanted to secure a safe, roomy, comfortable 21st century van for the next decade +. We weren't officially in the market but stopped by the gorgeous new Toyota facility to check out the new line-up and say hi to our good friend Abe. After seeing the newest Sienna in the showroom we checked online what was available on the Island and in BC. We came across an XLE Limited in Nanaimo and fell head over heels in love - unfortunately that one sold, but Abe and his manager were ready to bring it down to this dealership had the deal not gone through. So I kept in touch and stated our intention of finding a Sienna like this model if anything came up on the "radar"; I got a call back the same day that a 2012 model had been located in the Lower Mainland. We put a deposit down and Abe made arrangements to have it brought over the following day. We went for a test drive and of course had little doubt about wanting to acquire this incredible vehicle in order to replace our smaller aging Mazda MPV. The day after on a Saturday I was in the dealership signing off with John the Finance Manager who was very thorough, professional and patient throughout the process. What can I say about Abe? He's charismatic, charming, knowledgeable and fun. To balance the friendship and remain professional with both parties best interest at stake was not easy, but he did so with flying colors. Whilst we were not able to get the price down any further it was clearly explained to us why, and I think overall it was fair and for what we get out of the vehicle moving forward worth every penny. After getting the new plates and insurance on site I stated one thing was missing before I left happy, and that was a free coffee from their machine. Without asking I was offered a ride to where the rest of my family was in a different part of town - going above and beyond is all I can say to that, and thanks again for a great buying experience! I highly recommend Abe, John and the rest of the team at the Toyota (JP Auto group) dealership to any prospective buyer. More
