Mark from service walked me through everything that was wrong, the list was long, and braced me for the repair bill. While I went without a car for 2.5 weeks I was always kept informed and ultimately had 2 recalls done, major engine work, a massive discount on an engine part and labor, and ultimately I paid the largest repair bill in my life but I have many new parts warrantied for 2 years and the car drives like a new car!! This is my go to for all future repairs, thanks! More
Incompetent and corrupt! Wish I could give negative stars! In August I brought in my Ram because there was a grinding noise coming from my rear end. The service department Wish I could give negative stars! In August I brought in my Ram because there was a grinding noise coming from my rear end. The service department misdiagnosed the issue, and blamed it on my leveling kit up front. It had absolutely nothing to do with the leveling kit. I brought it to another dealership and they repaired it properly, no issues. Mark Gdyczynski the service manager tried to convince me to remove the leveling kit and bring it back for better diagnosis. What a waste of time that would have been. Glad the other techs at the other dealership were much more competent. My horn wire was cut and a window was broken as a result of a theft attempt. I got a quote from Islington Chrysler to have it repaired. Instead of being sympathetic to clients who are experiencing the theft epidemic in Ontario, they try to squeeze every penny they can out of them. They actually tried to sell me an immobilizer for $2000! My regular car electronics shop said going rate is around $500 for the Compustar immobilizer they sold at the time. See the screenshot I posted for the other ridiculous charges. I went and had the same work done at another dealership for about half the cost. After I said I wasn't willing to pay for their ridiculous prices, I asked to have it back as is and I would pay the diagnostic fee. They did a quick fix repair on the horn and charged me $200 for it, without authorization. During the time my truck was in their possession, the tech took it for a drive to a private residence. He disconnected my dash cam, not realizing it also operates on batteries, and I saw the footage. I also have a tracker installed, see screenshot. Andy, the tech, also had his phone hooked up to my Bluetooth. There was no test drive required outside of the parking lot, as I told them. Mark decided to talk to me like I was stupid when I brought it up. He's a flat out liar. Very limited parking in the service area, no loaner cars, no shuttle service. Oil changes for Ram trucks are about $200. As mentioned, the tech, the advisor and the service manager, all don't have a clue what they're doing. I messaged Jeff Garon, Director of Operations about my concerns, and nothing but crickets from him. Guess his highness was too embarrassed to respond. Years ago I was looking to buy a truck, and since this dealership was so close to my house, I came here. The sales person simply decided to ignore my emails when working out a deal so I had to go elsewhere. Aw well, their loss. Funny part was they supplied the vehicle to the dealership I bought it from. I've leased and bought four Rams over the past seven years, which was done elsewhere as a result of this sales person's negligence. Save yourself a world of headaches and go elsewhere. Anywhere. More
Service manager is rude, unhelpful. Have an appointment? Doesn't care. "Too busy" to look at my 6 month old Jeep despite making an appointment days in advance. I've purchased two cars from Islington, the first one was a brand new C200 which I had for a few years and the second one is a Chrysler 300 which I still drive. I was very satisfied in both deals, especiall a brand new C200 which I had for a few years and the second one is a Chrysler 300 which I still drive. I was very satisfied in both deals, especially with the customer service and service department. Special mention to Mark Gdyczynski, the service manager who I find very efficient. I highly recommend Islington for your Chrysler needs !! More

I've had my 2021 Jeep Cherokee SRT serviced here exclusively and they've been very helpful and accommodating every time I visited. Last time they even found a GPS tracker that was placed by would-be exclusively and they've been very helpful and accommodating every time I visited. Last time they even found a GPS tracker that was placed by would-be car thieves. If they didn't go the extra mile by performing a quick scan under my car and alert me about their finding, there's a very strong possibility that I would've had my car stolen by now. Thank you Islington Chrysler! More
After posting my previous review here, I received an email from Kris Rams. When I contacted him he asked me about my concerns regarding my vehicle purchase. Following that conversation he was very hel email from Kris Rams. When I contacted him he asked me about my concerns regarding my vehicle purchase. Following that conversation he was very helpful in resolving all my concerns with my purchase, as well as giving me a deal on new tires and installing them. So I am happy to revise my previous review about this dealership and do recommend them if your in the market for a new or used vehicle purchase. More

We needed a second car and were looking at a Mazda 6, Islington Chrysler had one on AutoTrader, it was what we were looking for. The salesperson Farshid Pourhadi was friendly, after we took it for a test Islington Chrysler had one on AutoTrader, it was what we were looking for. The salesperson Farshid Pourhadi was friendly, after we took it for a test ride, we decided to purchase the vehicle. Like all transactions we tried to get a couple of items thrown in, not only did Farshid not agree but was almost afraid to go and ask, we made the purchase anyway. On picking up the vehicle five days later everything went as planned, the vehicle looked great, we gave them the money, signed the paperwork then we walked outside, the salesperson Farshid gave us one key fob. When I asked for the other one, he told us they only had one fob given to them on the trade in. I disagreed for a bit but seeing as I was getting nowhere, we left. Two items here, first it was never told to us before that there was one fob which never gave us the option to walk away or reduce the price for the fob, Mazda wants $550-$600 for a new one. Second, when we all purchase a vehicle from a dealership, we do that because we don’t want a curbsider and get ripped off, we’re looking to get as new a vehicle as we can, knowing it’s used. Dealerships should have all their items checked off to make sure that’s the case. I called the director of operations Jeff Garon and we talked twice, but after the second conversation he said they were not going to supply a second fob but offered a free oil change, I agreed but Whoop-de-do! Dealerships today will not budge on the price nor give you anything as a bonus and this was the case here. They did have an $80 charge for gas, but you can guarantee if they put in less, they would not have given you any amount back, I had that taken off. On the first day after we agreed on the purchase price, we received an email with the “Vehicle purchase agreement”, it looked a little unusual but minor, they had given us credit then a couple of items tacked on at the bottom. The price was the same, but the taxes came out different because of the way they had added the items, then there was a $60 charge to pick up the new plates at Service Ontario. We called and had the purchase agreement changed with not much discussion. I bring this up as minor issues, but dealerships are trying to get every penny they can from you. According to OMVIC they can only charge you the advertised price plus tax, plus ownership change including new plates or anything else you agree to. I’m giving Islington Chrysler one star for a few reasons A message to all dealerships and Islington Chrysler, if you’re going to nickel and dime the customer it’s going to bit you in the xxx sometime in your future. The items were small on the price side but given that you wouldn’t budge on the key fob it turns into big items. Two stars taken off for the key fob, one star for the price (nickel and dimming) and one star because you and all dealerships look to get every penny you can out of your customers. More
