Great car and salesman but management needs help. We wanted a new Honda Accord and had done our homework. We had a good trade and thought we would like to deal locally. We stopped in to Island Honda and were met by Jay Cubitt. Jay is a very personable guy and spent a lot of time showing us the cars they had to offer, their features and the benefits of Honda. We were sold on the product - this would be our third Honda Accord. We were quickly sold on Jay: his knowledge, personality and his low-key approach to sales. To make a deal Jay introduced us to Dave, the General Manager and Owner. Dave immediately low-balled us on our trade, undoing a lot of the good-will that Jay had built. Honda had a $2000 incentive that Dave misrepresented as being a deduction from the trade value??? xxx! We eventually made a deal once Dave stepped out of the picture. Jessie, Jay and Brian worked hard with us to make it all happen and we very much appreciated their respect towards us and their professionalism. Dave would be best advised to keep his worn-out sales tactics off the floor - they are not appreciated and undermine a terrific staff. More

Purchased a new vehicle, the sales and office staff are great. I was not as impressed with the technicians, in that they did not properly respect the cleanliness of my vehicle when it was being serviced, great. And, a great product - which sure helps! More
