Bought a new ford 150 lighting on saturday from our fun an informative salesman Matt Cadzow dealing with Matt from start to finish was a refreshing experience never once my son an myself felt like where be an informative salesman Matt Cadzow dealing with Matt from start to finish was a refreshing experience never once my son an myself felt like where being rushed,double talked to an answered all our questions an knew the answers on our ford lighting,we had plenty of them,Matt was up front with us on all dealer fee's,taxes,rebates,etc. he walked us through our the Lighting 150 deal with sales manger Kyle Martin then through the service dept an showed us the charging stations at the dealer ship, he has followed up wit both phone calls an text to make sure we had any questions or issues to please let him know ,so far we are really enjoying our Ford lighting an have logged over 600 K going back an forth from Victoria to Namino ,love the truck fun ride, an its easy to use features! After discussing an issue with the lack of support I received from the service department with the sale associated, I purchased the vehicle four months prior. This issue was unable to be quickly resolve received from the service department with the sale associated, I purchased the vehicle four months prior. This issue was unable to be quickly resolved as I was told by the staff it was my fault for not booking a problem which just happened that day two months prior. The response upset me as I have spent much money on warranties to ensure I do not run into these issues. Trevor approached me in the middle of the dealership, demanding I state I was wrong and sorry for my frustration. "This was my fault for not better planning and planning my life around Ford." How dare I expect their service? All I wanted was to be able to go to an expensive course next week and ensure Ford honoured the warranty the staff at this dealer raved about. Trevor lacks customer skills, and the team after this man's outburst was not good. I recommend running for the hills at this service centre as you will be on foot while Trevor spends his time yelling at customers. More

bought a 2011 Kia soul last Tuesday. The brakes were a bit grindy so I requested they be changed and, obviously, that the car be given a once over in the shop and any safety issues de The brakes were a bit grindy so I requested they be changed and, obviously, that the car be given a once over in the shop and any safety issues dealt with. On Friday I got a phone call saying there was a “glitch” with the keys and they had to take it to a Kia dealership to fix it. So, eventually, after much back and forth I got my car on Wednesday. Now, I have to say that, due to their screw up with the keys, they did provide me with a loaner car so up until this point in the transaction, I would give them a 4 star review. However when the car was delivered it only came with 2 keys (the sale included 3 when I bought it), there was barely any gas in the tank - maybe I’m being petty but when I pay dealership prices I expect a full tank of gas. Also, I did not receive a carfax (the salesman reviewed it with me at the dealership) nor was there any documentation from the shop about fixing the brakes, the key debacle - I would have expected a report from Kia too - or any other work done on it - or required on it. Their website says that they do free delivery for all of the island and, while they did deliver the car, they did make several requests for me to drive down to Duncan (I’m in Parksville) to pick it up. I phoned the manager (Kyle) to express my concerns and he dismissed me and offered to “fill your tank the next time you’re in Duncan”. I replied that I only go to Duncan about once every 2 or 3 years so….. He apologized for the loss of the key and gave no offer of renumeration for it - these keys are approximately $300 to replace so I’m more than annoyed and feel screwed over by Island Ford. More
