NO longer a Hyundai custpmer due to their unprofessionalism Have been a Hyundai customer since 2003. Currently leasing a 2015 Santa Fe and requested a buyout for the lease on Tuseday April 24th. It is now 10pm Have been a Hyundai customer since 2003. Currently leasing a 2015 Santa Fe and requested a buyout for the lease on Tuseday April 24th. It is now 10pm Friday April 27th and they have not provided the information even though I was assured I would have it this past Wednesday. I spoke with the business manager early this morning who assured me I would have the figures by this afternoon. I guess since they found out I am not buying out the lease but using the buyout figure to negotiate purchase of another brand they can take what ever time they want. I will NEVER deal with this business in the future and since Hyundai finance REFUSED to deal with me directly, and told me to contact the originating dealer for the payout, I will NEVER again purchase, lease, rent, or otherwise set foot in another Hyundai vehicle. Way to go Aurora Hyundai I guess you really don;t need customers. Oh by the way THREE of my family members are now in the process of disposing of their Hyundai vehicles ( one is a 2017 model purchased 3 months ago) in support of my position. More

Walking into the fox's den I bought a brand new Tuscan from Aurora Hyundai and when it was time to have my first oil change at 3000 km I was told that I also needed an new air f I bought a brand new Tuscan from Aurora Hyundai and when it was time to have my first oil change at 3000 km I was told that I also needed an new air filter which was quoted at $120.00 to replace it. Having owned many new vehicles In the past, I can't remember EVER needing a new air filter so soon so I decided to not let them change the air filter. I then had my uncle , a recently retired mechanic, inspect my air filter and he said that it was like new and I was just getting the shake down from the dealership. Eventually when it was time to change my air filter, I bought one at their parts counter for approx. $25 and my uncle replaced it for me as I watched...it literally took him less than a minute to complete the job. How the heck does Aurora Hyundai justify their $120 cost to change a frickin air filter!? Be careful using their service department, they try to scam everyone, and they don't bother explaining anything to their customers especially if you're a woman and assume you don't know anything about cars. It is when you advertise one thing to attract a customer and then are sold or encouraged to buy another. We received information from Aurora Hyundai on our first visit on a make and model that we wanted to purchase. We were given a price and told to come back another day to test drive it. The next visit we were tricked into driveing what we were told was the same vehicle but turned out to be the next year model. Told what we wanted looked the same. We insisted in seeing it and driving it instead. The manager would let us drive another demo he drives to see it but then insisted it is no longer available. He went on to tell us that no dealer has them anymore and the only way to get it is to buy the more expensive next year model. We left there realizing we were being cheated and tricked into buying something else. A few hours later we purchased what we wanted at Newmarket Hyundai. We were not cheated, tricked or treated like idiots. Aurora made us feel like they are going out of business and needed to sell what they had left in stock. If you are looking to buy a new vehicle you need to be very careful. Dealers like Aurora Hyundai will play tricks on you. Check out Consumer Reports on how to buy a new car. Not only are some of these tricks exposed online, you can also find out what the real cost is of what you want to purchase. There is also information on what special offers manufactures have that may save you lots of money. One trick is to offer you zero percent financing and not budge on the price. If you want a better price they will lower it and then offer you 1.99% or higher. Do the math, dealers came back to us with offers that were not a penny different at the end. Another trick is to hold on to our credit card or ID that the sales person will go to the manager with your offer. Just as your about to walk away, you realize the manager can come out with a final save the day offer and last word. He has your card. There is always a second person the sales person has to talk to and that person willl have your card or DL. Always find out the bottom final price before talking about method of payment such as cash or financing. They can add a few dollars to the "monthly" cost and it adds up to hundreds or thousand of dollars years later. More
Dealer is horrible. Offer no loaners and require use of the car all day to do simple maintenance which is unrealistic unless you have a night job. the car all day to do simple maintenance which is unrealistic unless you have a night job. More
