I recently purchased a Santa Fe Sport. A friend had recommended the dealer ship and sales representative Arman Amirvar. I found a vehicle and purchased it with a delivery date of Wednesday March 15, 2023. I want to commend Vu Trinh for his professionalism and courteous service. I returned to the dealership today Thursday March 16, 2023 as one of the key fobs was not completely working. I saw Arman and explained the issue. He proceeded to tell me upon inspecting the fob that there was nothing he could do. At this point Carman Widdress came from his office and mentioned perhaps it was the battery. Arman stated no, I proceeded to explain to Carman the problem and at this point he turned around and entered his office. I told Arman that it was a reasonable expectation that both key fobs should work. At this time he told me that I told you there were two keys and you have two. Implying that he never stated they both functioned. He further stated that he could of told me that there was only one, to which I replied that I would of requested a second fob. I asked again if he would fix the fob or replace it to which he replied no they are expensive. I am deeply disappointed in the manner in which I was treated. I went to this dealership upon the recommendation of a friend. I did not expect to be treated with indifference regarding my concern. I will not be recommending Aurora Hyundai to my family or friends and I will not be taking my Santa Fe to be serviced at Aurora Hyundai. More
I have been going here since 2013. I have purchased 3 vehicles from them and get all major work done in house. Dealt with Eric at the service desk who was professional and very helpful, as usual. I was also impressed that the technician Niko was able to speak to me about the options & repairs required to fix my veh and very helpful, as usual. On August 31, 2022 I visited Aurora Hyundai to buy new batteries for the FOBs of my Hyundai. Yund Yong from the Parts Department served me and when he saw one FOB was held together with elastics, immedia batteries for the FOBs of my Hyundai. Yund Yong from the Parts Department served me and when he saw one FOB was held together with elastics, immediately said "I Can fix that for you", which he proceeded to do in minutes. He returned with a cover, checked that the brains of the key worked fine, and voila, I had just saved over $700. Yund made me one happy customer. We have always told our friends when interested in a new car to use Aurora Hyundai. Yund just cemented that. More
*It was the worst customer experience I ever had. I talked to Mr. Carman Widdess who is General Manager regarding my Hyundai Elantra "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT". The saleman was great very helpful but the slimy supervisor reeked of mysogyny and would not allow us to have the car checked out before purchase. Horrible customer service. Never buying from here again or a hyundai again. Purchased a 2016 Sonata Limited in Mar 2021. It it now Feb 6, 22. Have had constant problems since I bought it. Issues throughout the summer. I was on a loaner for 2 months. Engine problems now in Feb 2022. NO ONE HELPS. Multiple phone calls & emails NO ONE RESPONDS. When you call everyone gives you the run around. I have been requesting the inspection report for my car for 8 months, at first they could not find it all summer, and now they tell me they sent it to the ministry at point of sale. My cars check engine light is on and I told the dealership owner and the service manager and no one from the dealership has responded back to me. Honestly the worst dealership ever. They do not care about anything once the cars are sold. My next step is to complain to Hyundai Canada in Markham, and then Hyundai Global. More
