I recently took my vehicle to Hyatt Infiniti for an oil change and was really impressed by how fast and efficient the entire experience was. During service for a warranty issue I was told my brake fluid needed changing. When I asked if they could pull up the service records to see when it was last done I was told they couldn’t because dealershi fluid needed changing. When I asked if they could pull up the service records to see when it was last done I was told they couldn’t because dealerships compete against each other and don’t share records. (carfax doesn't have that issue). I Had the brake fluid changed, when I picked the vehicle up from the warranty work a different associate helped me. I asked him if he was able to check the service records to see when the brake fluid was last changed and he had the info in 10 seconds showing the brake fluid had been changed the year before with the KMs well below that recommended for a brake fluid change. So I paid for work that wasn’t required and my trust level is pretty low as a result. Also had to come back 3 times to get the bumper clip fixed under warranty. More
