Bad business - very disappointed I bought my car through this dealer and my car is still under warranty, so I brought my car in to them because it fails to start in the morning. I now I bought my car through this dealer and my car is still under warranty, so I brought my car in to them because it fails to start in the morning. I now regretted that I did. I came in the morning with three problems with the car. When I came to pick my car in the afternoon, for the problem that is still under warranty, they told me they don't have the parts and asked me to come back next time; for the problem that is not under warranty, they just did it and charged me without giving me a quote beforehand even though I specificially told them in the morning to give me a quote for any job that is not under warranty so I could decide to fix through them or not; and for the problem that is probably covered under warranty (engine problem), they said they could not find the problem and charged me for the labor they spent not discovering the issue. Wow! I should quit my job and join this industry! Hillcrest, do you still accept resumes? More

Definitely Recommended I miserably walked out of the Halifax Toyota O'reagans store on a Tuesday evening at about 7.30pm feeling frustrated and just happened to stop across I miserably walked out of the Halifax Toyota O'reagans store on a Tuesday evening at about 7.30pm feeling frustrated and just happened to stop across the street at Hillcrest VW. I chose a 2014 VW Tiguan, (which was my second choice of car btw... I must have been crazy to choose the RAV4 as my first choice lol!) negotiated my price and left an hour later. Credit checks were done asap and my car was ready by Wednesday evening. I drove my brand new 2014 VW Tiguan away on Thursday. I have been enjoying new VW Tiguan and in hindsight, it's a much better car than the Toyota Rav4. Hillcrest VW handled me way better than other dealerships I visit within the 3 weeks prior to my impromptu stop at their store and I'm looking forward to dealing with them in the future. Actually after being to many dealership with poor customer service, Halifax Toyota O'reagans store in particular, I had almost gotten used to the poor service and low expectations. I was just about to give up on buying a new car altogether. Luckily I ended up at Hillcrest VW and I do not regret it. I even got my new license plate as per my exact request :).
