Purchased a new 2023 Honda CRV Sport in July of 2023. All went well and satisfied with the transaction. Now the service??? That's a different story. In May of 2024, I noticed the paint lifting on the driver's door near the door handle. Took it in for the service people to take a look at it. They took photographs and told me they would be sending them to Honda Canada for warranty approval. Between May and October, I called and attended the dealership to followup. The first time I went back, the service managet didn't recall me being there and him taking photographs. Again he went outside and took more photographs. Months go by and still nothing. This went on for 5 months. Finally I went in and showed my discontent. This time they promised they would make arrangements with a local bodyshop to make repairs. They said the whole driver door and rear passenger door would have to be repainted due to blending. The vehicle returned and right away as I drove in the parking lot I could see there was a circle of new paint where the repairs were made. It was visible as xxxx. The service manager and the dealership manager came outside at my persistence and looked at it. They both agreed that it was a shabby job and would have to be re-done. Never heard another word from them from that point on. As of writing this at the end of December 2024, still not a word. Knowing that I waited forever for the job to get done, I did not want to wait any longer, so I arranged to have the work done myself and paid for it myself. This is when I decided from now on I will be dealing with Orleans Honda. It's a bit further away, but well worth not having to deal with Hawkesbury Honda any longer. The only thing I will continue to do there is the removal and installation of my summer and winter tires as they are stored at their location. I just attended Orleans Honda today for a steering recall.....oh man what a difference!!! More

I have been dealing with Chris O Connor then sales Representative who sold me my 2023 Honda Civic Touring in February 16 2023. At time of closing the deal and picking up the car, I was directed to o Representative who sold me my 2023 Honda Civic Touring in February 16 2023. At time of closing the deal and picking up the car, I was directed to on Mr. Martin Cote. This person is responsible for all Financial matters related to closing costs. This is also the opportunity for this Financial manager to try and upsell other services such as the Honda Plus warranty program. I agreed to purchase this 7 year / 84000 km. warranty. After a few weeks when given the time I read thru the details of the Honda Plus Contract. It then showed to me that what ever Honda Plus was offering was also covered by my Insurance company . I called the dealership and and spoke with Martin Cote requesting he complete the Request for Cancellation Form as directed by Honda Canada / Finance. This where things became very nasty. Martin Cote became outraged at my insistence that I did not want the Honda Plus warranty. Cancellation was allowed by Honda Canada as long as it was within 60 days and the car was not a total loss. Martin Cote started to raise his voice and became abusive. He accused me of not understanding English and suggested that I go home. He questioned my parentage and used the f-word many times.. Then he started abusing me in French knowing that I did not speak French. I could understand his frustration on him losing his commission on the $1698/- cost of the Honda Plus service warranty. I could accept all that he said, but when a manger from the Dealership becomes abusive and used foul, unprofessional language, then I will not tolerate. Any issue or differences can be discussed and settled, but not questioning my parents and using F-bombs through out the discussion. And then Martin Cote had the audacity to hang up on a customer. Never again with this man or this dealership. More
I have purchased over 18 new vehicles over the years . I had good and bad customer experiences dealing with dealerships of many brands . I bought a Honda civic touring 2023 at the Gagne Honda dealership in Hawkesbury Ontario this Saturday! I can describe my buying Experience as memorable ! In short Wow! Courteous ,honest and friendly staff from the sales Director Benoit to the sales person Chris and yes even my experience with the Finance Director Ionut . Chris to me is the new generation of car salesman who understand the importance of a honest and friendly no pressure interaction with the client. How refreshing! Benoit is fair and seeks a Win Win approach in the deal for both his business and the client and again with no pressure! Even if you live as fare as Ottawa Gatineau or Montreal believe me it is worth the drive or at the very least a call or an email if you are thinking on getting a new. Got a call from Nathalie saying there is a good deal, lower interest and we could switch to a newer vehicle and costing less. Well that was a lie, she doesn’t listen to what the client has to say when b lower interest and we could switch to a newer vehicle and costing less. Well that was a lie, she doesn’t listen to what the client has to say when being questioned. Very pushy, loud, impatient if you don’t understand, manipulative, rude, humiliating, pressures and a lack of respect. When she talks she’s all over the place and left confused. I felt being taking advantage of. She was more happy with the deal than I was and telling me they had a buyer for my car to put more pressure. On my way home I was rethinking everything and really I don’t care if you have a buyer or not. The client has the last word. We went back as we had to sign papers but at this time we had decided we were keeping our vehicle for the duration of the rental. We will not be going to Honda Hawkesbury anymore or dealing with Nathalie. She rubbed us the wrong way. More
