We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. I appears that we have lots to talk about. I am not sure how we made the fuel tank "look" full. I would be happy to fill your tank up with fuel. The lien payout is the lien payout. Sometimes we estimate the lien payout from the credit bureau and then we always contact your bank to verify it. That may explain why there was a discrepency. We are obligated to put every vehicle we sell through a safety inspection. At this time, every vehicle recieves an oil change and any other service required to make the vehicle compliant with the law. I looked into our history, and we did in fact perform this service on this vehicle before you purchased it. I would be happy to send you the work orders for this service. I am not sure why we did not produce these documents to help you with your buying decision but I can assure you that we did the service. I do understand your frustration however! I looked at the original bill of sale from the previous owner and the vehicle had just over 30,000 kms on it. For some reason, our service writer hit a 2 instead of a 3 when he wrote the work order and it does show that the vehicle had a service done at 20,001 kms. This would have been impossible because we took the unit in with just over 30,000 on it. This is a typo and i would be pleased to show you the documents if you were inclined to come and see me in person. We are human beings and I dare say not perfect! If you would like, I would be happy to re-imburse you for the service that you had done at the other dealer. I can see why you would be upset and I only wish that you or Harlem would have reached out to me earlier to resolve this concern. I will certainly be speaking to Harlem about this situation. Hello Andy, I appreciate that you do understand where I am coming from here. That does put my mind to ease about the kms being written down via error as I could not believe you had put that many kms on a vehicle sitting on your lot and if it was correct and needed work done but sold without it as I was told, then that would have been outrageous and could have cost me my warranty. The second Harlem told me the last work done was at 20001 kms I panicked. I couldnt get the work done right away locally so I ended up having to drive it to Campbell River (2.5 hours each way) I immediately called Bill Howich Chrysler and made the appointment after talking to Harlem and my vehicle went into the shop 8:30 am the next day. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my first day off in a while. My 2 year old daughter completely lost a day with me as well. The total for my service was $188.81. I have my receipt which shows work done, date and time also. My gas to get there and back was another $100.00. As far as my previous loan pay out, it simply wasnt paid. There was no error with the total like you mentioned. Your dealership completely dropped the ball and didnt pay it. Cheryl told me that they put a stop payment on the cheque and paid with a new one. She also told me it was paid at the bank and showed as not cashed. I found out from TD Auto Finance that is a complete lie. They only accept bank drafts. They must be paid at the TD branch in person and once that transaction is done the money is immediately withdrawled and the lein paid. So there is really nothing you can say to resolve that incident. What is done is done. I am just thankful my new vehicle is properly maintained and would like every penny I paid for the service and day of travel paid back to me. According to this website, my review goes live as of April 1st. Hopefully that gives us enough to to resolve this. Should it be resolved I will remove my comment and leave nothing instead.
