A long hard day due to my inability to commit myself Tyler is a personable young man who went out of his way to be helpful. He did all the right things from the dealership's point of view and I was unab Tyler is a personable young man who went out of his way to be helpful. He did all the right things from the dealership's point of view and I was unable to swing him to what I'd read I ought to insist on. We took a good test drive and I was able to go into my underground parking lot to make sure I could get the car into the slot. I went home for lunch before making a final decision and then forgot to bring back my driver's licence. Mistake. Tyler drove me back home to fetch it plus I'd been told (then, not earlier) to bring a blank cheque. Good thing I brought my whole cheque book, as I needed it it for ICBC. I'm sure I'll love the car, and will see Tyler again next week to learn more about it. During the day there were many waiting periods - computer problems, manager not available, and so on. I had a second appointment to see the Finance Manager in the afternoon and had to wait more than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled time. Robert talked a lot, explained financing very clearly, but made an assumption based on what he had said rather than my preference. Saturday is perhaps not a good day to buy a car. More
