Dysfunctional is the word for the Service Dept. Last 3 calls from their Service Dept has been to change the app't due to the service writer-woman wanting me to make an app't on Mon-Fri as Sat & Mon Last 3 calls from their Service Dept has been to change the app't due to the service writer-woman wanting me to make an app't on Mon-Fri as Sat & Mon was her days off. Today, my app't made 8 days ago, again she was trying to switch my app't to a M-F. Customer Service is long gone from this Service Dept! The Service manager (Jeff)- lord knows who trained him! Also Jeff- turn on your voice message, so a customer can at least leave a msg! Please TRY to understand, people have jobs, lives and this may not align to YOUR preferred days. Both service writers should be able to take over for each other to process the customer, billing etc., to allow the customer to be on THEIR way ASAP. I hope the owner takes note and reviews how their Service Dept is operating. I believe he would NOT be impressed. I am now on hold (22 mins so far) to reach SOMEONE in the Service Dept to change my daughters app't to Sat and although I can leave a voice message by pressing 1, so they can return my call as THEIR earliest opportunity, hmmm will that be before or after the upcoming app't? Even reception does not come back on and why would I trust them to call me back after my experiences with the "service?" Dept. I do hope that the Service Dept has a meeting with the owner and their staff is re-trained in customer service in the Service Dept. I spoke last time I had to take my daughters car in, to Ian the car rep whom she purchased her lease vehicle with about the lack of service. I am guessing he kept it all to himself sadly. Really not impressed with the after car sales service!! The dealership NEEDS to re-evaluate a few things!! GM is looking pretty good right about now. More
Recently bought a used Mitsubishi RVR in the middle of September, dealt with Ian as a salesman, He was excellent, no pressure, honest great salesperson who I would deal with again. Unfortunately, fast forward 2 months and the battery has failed leaving my family stranded. Called and talked to the pre owned sales manager. He told me a load test of the battery was performed in June and that too much time had elapsed since the sale for him to do anything. I was slightly disappointed as the car was not checked when I purchased it and I could of purchased it with a weakened battery. I was hoping for a better response from the manager, he essentially said that's too bad and wouldn't discuss it further. I wasn't expecting a full replacement of the battery for free but was expecting that they would honour their used product. I was told that they sell over a 1000 vehicles a year and that sometimes it happens. That they start the vehicles once a week while on the lot. (starting a vehicle doesn't usually effectively charge the battery until it reaches a certain RPM which doesn't happen until it is driven or accelerated in park) I felt like this was a cop out response, Yes you sell lots of vehicles, but the one you sold me isn't performing as I expected. This vehicle was bought intending to be a daily driver for my family to rely on and unfortunately it isn't able to meet this expectation. I had to leave work and go jump the car to get my family home missing out on time and wages. More
Dealt mostly with Kyle who gave great customer service. When i bought the 2018 mini jcw in June 2022 i saw that the alloy rims were all scuffed up probably from kerb damage. So i went to the BMW Mini deale When i bought the 2018 mini jcw in June 2022 i saw that the alloy rims were all scuffed up probably from kerb damage. So i went to the BMW Mini dealership next door to order new alloy rims and new all season tyres. They arrived from Germany about 2 weeks later. Yesterday i took my mini into the BMW Mini dealer for the wheel change. Upon inspection they told me that 4 out of 5 of the wheel nuts were missing on 1 of the front wheels. The Mini is a front wheel drive car. As im about to drive around the USA in it i was so pleased that i got it checked over by a genuine BMW Mini dealer before departing. Im also pleased that i didnt drive it far or fast since picking it up before deciding to get it checked over by BMW Mini. Today i visited the Harmony Honda dealer and explained the findings from BMW Mini. They werent really interested but were amazed that i could drive it with only 1 wheel nut in place. How much of the 3 weeks since purchase that the wheel only had 1 out of 5 nuts i dont know. They thought that the Mini had been tampered with somehow which i find hard to believe as the Mini is parked under a streetlight all night outside my front door. Why would someone attempt to take any of the wheels if all 4 were already damaged/scraped? The only explanation i could think of was that the 4 out of 5 wheel nuts were missing when i collected the car and i didnt notice or they were all loose and came out during the 3 weeks since driving it. They said that their techs had years of experience and wouldnt have made a mistake in not tightening them up. Maybe/Maybe not, who is to really know. They have a 120 checkpoint scheme for their cars which is a good scheme but mistakes can easily happen in the workplace. My advice would be to potential buyers of vehicles if they are buying a non honda brand to get it checked over by a genuine dealer after youve bought a vehicle. So 5 stars for Kyle for customer service and 1 star for their response when i told them about the BMW Mini findings......hence 2.5 out of 5 stars. More
Harmony Honda Kelowna is the best. We have been dealing with this company for approx 30 years. Every new honda, approx three years apart from veh to veh gives us needed security with a veh because we are with this company for approx 30 years.
