Sean (the dealer principal ) was nice enough to have a chat and Sean in sales sealed the deal . This is still a family run business and it really shows . Subsequently I have just had a service of my own Golf R and found that end of the operation to be at least as efficient and welcoming. Thanks to Iain and Jay . I rate this place as amazing , almost like a bygone era . More

Five days ago we were driving home from Victoria to Courtenay when the car began to stall on us anytime we slowed down to a stop or had to go up any sort of incline from a stopped position. This happened when we were just outside Nanaimo and were able to make it to the VW dealership for servicing. They did a diagnostic, determined it was a worn out ignition coil, and they replaced it. They charged us $450. We left the dealership and got back onto the highway only to realize that the car was acting exactly the same way. Nothing had been fixed! Even though it was not safe because of all the stalling, we were able to make it back to Courtenay. When we contacted them and asked them for some - any - kind of refund because they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM, they said there's nothing they can do. All they did was misdiagnose the problem. Just a reminder, we purchased this car at this dealership. Is that how you want to be treated as a customer? It goes without saying that we will never, ever use them again. I would strongly suggest that if you're looking to purchase a VW, go to Courtenay or Victoria. Be warned that they do not take customer service seriously. More

Very Poor Customer Service. Been a VW Loyal customer for 15 yrs. Purchased one of those lemon TDI 's . Took back to dealership to sell back to them through settlement agreement. Been a VW Loyal customer for 15 yrs. Purchased one of those lemon TDI 's . Took back to dealership to sell back to them through settlement agreement. Was given chq and told to F....Off and get out of the dealership by Dave Essig , Finance Mgr and Kevin Threadgill Sales Mgr. This is the second time Dave Essig confronted me and told me to F....Off and get out of HIS dealership. I brought this to the attention of the Owner Sjon Wynia but he found this acceptable that his staff tell his customers to F...Off. Shame Shame Would not deal with this dealership nor VW. More

I have found the repairs to be reasonable and have not be charged for things that I did not want or need. I just bought a new VW Golf wagon and will continue to have the car serviced at this dealership. I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE SALES DEPARTMENT. I agreed to have my 2004 diesel Jetta Wagon with 130,000 km driven by a salesman to assess how much it would be worth in a trade in on a new VW Golf diesel wagon. It is a very rare car to buy and when I was able to find it on Craigslist, it would list for about $12,000. It had been serviced by this dealer since 2007, previously by another dealer in Vancouver. After consulting with the sales manager, the salesman offered me $4,000 for the car. I was shocked and asked him how much he would sell it for. Without batting an eye, he said $10,000. I told him what I thought of his offer and walked out. I purchased the new 2013 Gold diesel wagon in Vancouver and I sold my 2004 for $11,000 cash on Craigslist. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND BUYING A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. More
