The 2015 incentives allowed me to remain in budget and a new vehicle was my insurance that I would not have unexpected repairs. Even my tires were covered for 2 years! I have 3 small children (ages 3, 5 & 7) and, I have struggled for a month now to get these 3 small children to school. I have been late to work on more than one occasion in the last month and, have incurred additional costs for travel and struggled to make arrangements for transportation for my children and myself…with the expectation that I have a van on the way in a matter of days. Now, a month later, Hamburg Honda wants to upsell me to a 2016 at a higher cost. Please consider this information if you are considering a purchase from Hamburg Honda? More
Best Service Department Anywhere I bought a used Crosstour at another dealership and was not able to obtain the expert service necessary to address the car's problem. It had a vague I bought a used Crosstour at another dealership and was not able to obtain the expert service necessary to address the car's problem. It had a vague type of vibration that was difficult to diagnose, and severe enough to make most service departments cringe at the prospective repairs. I was advised to take the car to Hamburg Honda because the service department was extremely knowledgable. The service department manager, John Rodney, treated me with the utmost respect, as I tried to explain the car's perceived problem, in my own non technical language. The car was still under factory warranty, and I have the longest extended warranty, so I was not fearful of never getting it fixed, but I had been trying for six months to get the problem fixed elsewhere, and was starting to lose patience. I had also spent considerable money addressing all the possible causes that weren't under warranty, such as tires, alignment, and other numerous small issues. It was not a simple repair, nor was it a fast repair. From what I understand, the whole drive train was removed, and eventually replaced, from the torque converter back, including an engine mount (which was also motorized). Every visit and phone call was pleasant, and I was always treated amazingly well. They never lost sight of the fact that I was being inconvenienced by the repairs more than they were. That is rare these days! I had no cause to complain as they were always a step ahead of my needs, even to the point of supplying a rental car without me asking for one. I am so grateful, as I could easily have been shuffled around in circles without ever getting it fixed, because the car always ran, but with a particular vibration. As it is, the car is just getting better with age! Improved gas mileage, no odd vibration, and most incredibly, not one squeak or rattle after being put back together. In fact I thought they had improperly installed a rear lower deflector, but the fact was I must have backed over something and bent a bracket. They were exceedingly gracious to repair that too, and not treat me like an idiot, and not charge me either. It just doesn't get better that. I hope what they have is contagious! More
