A pleasant surprise My first service appointment, earlier this year, left me feeling unimpressed. No big issue, but I had a "piece of mind inspection" on a 2010 Journey My first service appointment, earlier this year, left me feeling unimpressed. No big issue, but I had a "piece of mind inspection" on a 2010 Journey with 50K and would have liked a checklist or some kinda of report....you know...for my "piece of mind". I didn't plan on returning, but I started to experience engine noise and wanted an experience Dodge technician to diagnose the issue, and this dealer is closest to my home There was some confusion as to what I wanted, but Service Manager Dave Gibson sorted it out. Seems there was an significant issue. I was aware the vehicle was past the 5 year warranty, so expected to pay the full shot. Because of the low kilometers, Dave was able to offer a goodwill gesture from Chrysler Canada that covered the cost of the parts. A pleasant surprise...to say it mildly. It was an experience above and beyond my expectations. From unimpressed to wow! Thank you More
Professional and responsive I went to the ealership for service on my Dodge. While waiting for my ride I was looking at used cars. Lizz approached me and asked if she could help. Service Department I just wanted to say what a great group of service employees you have including your Shuttle Driver Fred. I purchased my van last June second hand (p I just wanted to say what a great group of service employees you have including your Shuttle Driver Fred. I purchased my van last June second hand (private sale) with only 40,000km on it and a week later my engine light came on. The previous owner told us that he had the same issue, but that he had it into Dodge Bridgewater and it was fixed. I called Bridgewater Dodge who didn't really want to deal with me even though they were the dealer it was originally purchased from. They "fixed" it and the light came on again, so back I went. This went on for about 5 times. By this time the whole service crew was annoyed with me, as if I personally wanted to sit at a dealership or wanted my engine light to come on. The minute I walked in the door you could practically hear the eye roll of the front desk service counter. At one point I actually said "Do you think I want to be here anymore than you want me to be here!" I think the fact that it was a warranty issue meant they were wasting unpaid time on the vehicle. I finally had had enough after getting it "fixed" only to have my engine light back on less than a week later. I made an appointment at your Bayer's Lake location and was treated with respect from the moment I arrived! Not only did you kindly deal with me and my van issue, but you took time to give my 2 year old a dinky car and colouring book. You left my file open in case the light came on again, which it did a week later, BUT, you fit me in no problem and once again treated me with respect and care. You have an INCREDIBLE group of service employees and I will highly recommend you! I work in Management and know that staff too often are told about the bad things that happen but are not praised for the good. Please pass on to the staff how amazing they truly are and to never lose their incredible customer service values. I will be a buyer from your dealership on my next purchase for sure!!!! Great overall experience, lately been pleasure to deal with! I seem to frequent this place more often than I would like and have had a few different experiences with a few items but lately the service department I seem to frequent this place more often than I would like and have had a few different experiences with a few items but lately the service department has been A1! I drive a lifted Jeep Wrangler with larger tires (which to some dealerships (wrongly) would try and void certain parts of warranty ) and you can tell I don't always drive on the paved roads, I do not abuse my Jeep and I always get my services done on time and fully, and it is still my daily driver but I do take it in the woods occasionally, and you know what - IAJTYWU Dave Gibson specifically, went over and above what I would consider to be reasonable customer service, he provided me with, what I would consider to be exceptional customer service. He even called me in to his office to discuss the issues with me and to advise me what he was willing to do to get me on the road asap. I cannot say enough great things about the service department in the last 6 months or so, and I really cant thank Dave enough for being upfront and honest with me about my specific situation. I am an active member of the Nova Scotia Jeep Club and some folks have had bad past experiences with Halifax Chrysler but I have since posted asking people to give them another chance and see the difference for themselves. Kudos to the service department for keeping me as likely a lifetime customer for my service needs. I didn't have a great purchase experience, but the service team has restored my faith in their team! Nice people but never going back! We took our jeep in there for gas tank recall and nothing but issues sense for over a year, gas cap warning stays on and bought new ones twice and che We took our jeep in there for gas tank recall and nothing but issues sense for over a year, gas cap warning stays on and bought new ones twice and check engine light comes on within hours of a repair. Finally the coil burned out took it, got it repaired, $300 and ping, check engine light comes back on 4 hours later! Going to take our 2012 Jeep Patriot else where tomorrow. Already put new alternator in it and other minor stuff but now the motor and still a gas cap warning ....... Grrrrr More
Appointment time totally ignored Made an appointment for service last Thursday 06/11/2015 for Friday morning at 8:00 am 06/19/2015. Took the vehicle in to the service dept. Friday am Made an appointment for service last Thursday 06/11/2015 for Friday morning at 8:00 am 06/19/2015. Took the vehicle in to the service dept. Friday am at 7:30am so would be ready to start at 8:00 am. Asked the service writer how long it would take, was told 4 hours. I was going to wait for my vehicle but since it was going to take 4 hours, I decided to take the shuttle to my work, just to hang around there and catch up on a few things. At 2;30 pm I called to find out if my vehicle was completed yet and was told by Cory that the vehicle was not even started yet, I was floored, I booked this on Friday am my only day off this week because we wanted to enjoy the afternoon off work, I told the service writer that I would be right there to pick up my vehicle don't bother putting it in next. But he started the work order anyway, then I got to the dealership and had to wait for my vehicle that should have been started at 8:00 am. WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT? WORST SERVICE IN MY LIFE. Don't take your vehicle there unless you want to wait a lifetime to get it repaired mine is still not done................imagine dealer recalls are not important to them! More

When servicing my caravan the continued to replace parts and supplied a 6 month warranty. If I bought the same part at NAPA myself they have a lifetime warranty. I asked them why is this. The rude girl who answers the phone Dawn or something shrugged and said nothing. They are thieves at this dealership. Even the one in the valley is cheaper and the people are much nicer. More
