Amazing service Have always felt comfortable and in very capible hands. Very accommodating always, wished I lived closer so I could have my service there every time. Service Appointment I had an appointment made at the dealership for oil change and brake maintenance for 10am. I was told it would take about 2hrs to complete and decided I had an appointment made at the dealership for oil change and brake maintenance for 10am. I was told it would take about 2hrs to complete and decided to wait for my vehicle. At 11:20am I decided to stretch my legs and go for a walk and seen my vehicle in the lot. So I thought service was completed. After asking the question at the service desk I found out it was not taken in yet. You can imagine my reaction. I travel an hour to have my vehicle serviced and my wife and I make a day of it. So we have plans to do other things and not sit at the dealership for longer than the expected service time, hence why I make the appointment. I can live with a half hour but an hour and 20 minutes is unsatisfactory. I believe this dealership needs to reevaluate their way of booking service appointments. This has happened my last 2 appointments at this dealership. The first one I thought was a fluke, but I guess not. More
To Be Fair; we're not done yet, although we should be. I purchased a 2016 Chrysler 300 C from this dealer in 2017. Purchased a full Chrysler extended warranty as well. When I had a seized brake caliper in I purchased a 2016 Chrysler 300 C from this dealer in 2017. Purchased a full Chrysler extended warranty as well. When I had a seized brake caliper in July 2018 I took it to the dealer for assessment. Nicole the service clerk did the intake. She confirmed I had a seized brake caliper and that I needed to replace that caliper (which was under warranty) and the brake rotors and pads and that this would cost $550.00. I asked her if she could just replace the caliper and keep my rotor and pads since they wouldn't be that worn out yet. She said an empatic no. Said that would void my warranty on the caliper. I didn't like the cost so I consulted with the service Manager Allan Murphy who told me that was not correct. That I could choose to just replace the caliper. I told him I would replace the pads and rotor if they were dangerously low and wouldn't pass safety but nobody told me that was the case. So when I took the car in next day (once the part arrived) I asked Nicole to just replace the caliper. She again replied No she cannot do that. Then the other clerk who was present during my conversation with the service manager had to correct her. Since then it seemed she was not happy about dealing with me. Then when I didn't hear from her near the end of my work day I called to find out why. She said they ran into a problem, the wrong part was in the box they got. They could not put my old one back on so I'd have to get a rental car. (they did pay for that as my warranty covers it) (the only vehicle they could give me was a ram 1500 truck that burned gas like crazy) Two days later I went to pick up my car and surprise they didn't bill me for any labour charges. That was good. Then that night I get home and that brake is squeeking like crazy. I didn't wind the window down when I picked up at the dealership, I did when I went for a drive later that evening. So now I'm wondering, do they test drive their work? Now it's another week and I'm still dealing with this matter. What a waste of time. I have left a call for the Service Manager two hours ago and am waiting for his call back to see where we go next. I guess I'm going to have to buy pads and rotor now. Not happy with the attitude of the service employee, not happy with the time it takes to resolve, not happy with the costs they are quoting. Time to consider using an alternate Chrysler dealership for my service. We'll give them a chance to make me a happy camper and I'll report the results. More

Worst Customer Service from the Service Manager. Was very rude when we called her for help and even went as far as to hanging up on us. We have purchased 3 vehicles fro from the Service Manager. Was very rude when we called her for help and even went as far as to hanging up on us. We have purchased 3 vehicles from them and have never felt so poorly treated as we do now. We ended up running over a huge screw on the road and called to see if we could get a replacement. The Service Manager told us good luck and that she wasn't just going to give us a tire. Now we are told we have to wait 8 - 10 weeks for a replacement. We are driving on our spare now waiting for the tire to come in. We are supposed to go Toronto on the 30th and was told to drive on our spare. Now what happens if something were to happen to another tire on the way? They won't even give us a spare just in case. Now we have to buy a totally different tire to ease our minds in case something happens. What is the point of spending the extra money for the tire and rim warranty if they won't help us? More
Great Service Once Again! Must Read! This morning I had a starting issue with one of my vehicles - my 2011 4dr Jeep. Irony is, I had just had the starter replaced. So here I am in the pouring rain with a booster pack hooked to the battery and no go. The vehicle would not turn over and the lights were flickering like a bad connection. Needless to say I called and ripped into the dealership with the full belief it was something on their end from the starter replacement a few weeks ago. In less than 30 minutes I get a call back from the Service Manager Dave Gibson who I had dealt with before. I apologized for my initial call and stated I needed this vehicle for the weekend. This happened on a Friday morning. Sensing my frustration and knowing I was a long time customer Dave simply said "we will take care of it" and to "cancel the tow" I had coming. The Jeep was in front of my house so I left my keys handy and left for work. When I came home at 3ish (early day) the Jeep was gone. I received a call about an hour later stating that it as fixed. Some corroded wire ends and a new battery was the issue. I went down to the Bayers Lake location, paid a modest bill (way less than what I expected) and had the rig back in my driveway at 5pm! They gave me the battery at almost cost. Now I am sure this doesn't get done every day. This was a department manager that understood my frustration and did what he said he would do. I admit that I am the most skeptical person you can deal with in business of any sort - and especially with service departments. But I have to say - these guys have been outstanding! LC More

There is a fair Our review is for a 2014 Chrysler 200. It was bought in August of 2014 and has roughly 40000 kms...supposedly still under warrenty. There is a fair size rip in the drivers seat...you can see where a metal bar wore through the upholstry. After many trips back to the dealers we were told that nothing would be done as it is "normal wear and tear". Am totally shocked that this dealership does not back their vehicle..a vehicle that is still "under warranty" from such an obvious defect. More
The 2015 Jeep "Leak"riot (aka Patriot) I am writing to discuss my 2015 Jeep Patriot. The Patriot is one of two Jeeps in our household (the other being a 2015 Jeep Compass). I will beg I am writing to discuss my 2015 Jeep Patriot. The Patriot is one of two Jeeps in our household (the other being a 2015 Jeep Compass). I will begin by letting you know that our Compass was purchased when our other 2015 Patriot was “bought back” by Steele Chrysler for ONE of the same issues (an ongoing leaking problem which cannot seem to be repaired) that we are experiencing with our current Patriot as well. We have had problems with this Patriot since the first week. The first problem was water pouring through the map light in the front, which Steele Chrysler attempted to fix on more than one occasion by flushing out the sunroof drain and replacing the sunroof seal. This did not work, as water eventually started pouring through the dome light at the very rear by the lift gate. We then took the vehicle to Dartmouth Dodge, where they serviced the vehicle at least 4 times to try to locate and repair the leak in the rear dome light. Thankfully it was a dry summer, so we had a couple of months where did not experience many issues with respect to leaks. HOWEVER in the meantime, we had the Patriot in to Dartmouth Dodge on two occasions to have the front padding replaced on the driver’s seat AND the power window repaired on the front passenger side. Once the Fall arrived and the rain returned, our vehicle started leaking again through the front map light, and the rear dome light. We made an appointment with Halifax Chrysler (this being the third dealership for the same problem) because not only was our vehicle leaking but our AC stopped working, our vehicle was randomly SHUTTING DOWN at stop lights and the transmission was not shifting properly. Please keep in mind that this vehicle is a year and a half old and had less than 40,000 km on it. While our Patriot was at Halifax Chrysler the sunroof drain was flushed out (yet again), the AC was serviced and our TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED… YES… REPLACED. When we finally get our Patriot back, we are beyond frustrated! The last straw was occurred on the weekend when we were on our way back from Cape Breton, with our kids in the car, from picking up our new kitten, when the Patriot started leaking through the map light in the front, from a spot on the side pillars beside the windshield and also started coming through the sunroof itself and dripping water on me. So here we are heading into another winter with an unreliable vehicle – not to mention the rentals provided under our “Gold” Warranty package do not always come with snow tires! I did not buy a brand new 4WD vehicle to drive around a rental with all season tires! I am MORE than done with this vehicle, and I am truly concerned about the long term effects of the leaking. The vehicle is under warranty right now, but what happens when that runs out? Is Chrysler going to continue to pay for an ongoing issue that cannot be fixed? Is Chrysler going to pay for the electrical and corrosion problems which I’m sure are in store for us at a later date? How about the trade-in value of our Patriot with all of the work that has been done to it – including a new transmission!? Is Chrysler going to reimburse us for the loss in value of our trade? Or how about our time? Is Chrysler going to reimburse us for the amount of OUR time that has been spent dropping vehicles off and picking up and dropping off rentals and re-arranging OUR Schedules? I have been more than patient, but my patience is gone. I can’t rely on this Patriot, and NEVER have been able to rely on it, to SAFELY and comfortably transport my family. I am more than willing to discuss options with you, prior to me taking this to my lawyer, but I can assure you that I no longer want this Patriot. I have given three dealerships the opportunity to repair the leaking issues – but I honestly do not think it is fixable. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. More

First we were sold the van with the dealer telling us that the van had all these features including blue tooth, lumbar adjusted seating etc. Once we bought it, it had nothing. We had to argue to get the blue tooth. They settled on giving us 250$ worth of gas cards to settle the mistake made. We have had the van in over 7 times with the right sided door sticking with humidity. Each time they state there is nothing wrong. After a year of owning it, the left engine head had to be replaced. 2 years later the engine light came on and we had to have it towed in. Paid 1000$ dollars to have coils and springs replaced. 3 days later the battery light came one with engine light and they said the alternator is gone. I am so upset as when you buy a vehicle for your family, you expect reliality. We have had none of that with this and feel we have been sold a lemon. More

Upon calling,Angela informed me there really wasn't anything such as "Warranty work but just maintenance." The engine light was not on so doing a fuel injector cleaning service ( from other mechanics and online) is not required. My husband was told our warranty checks were up to date after paying however when I spoke to the same person she indicated this was just maintenance! Front and rear brakes were also serviced however that was discussed and insisted upon as a safety issue. Angela also informed me in a very patrionizing voice that we could have gotten a quote when we booked our Warranty appointment however if we didn't know what was being done how could we ask. In my over 40 years of owning a vehicle I have never had a warranty check turn into a maintenance service unless a problem was discussed and a price given. Very dissatisfied. T and R FOTHERINGHAM More
