They are lacking in professional customer service. The service advisors are lacking especially, They will treat you poorly and attack you verbally, till they make you feel horrible. We took our Cadillac there recently on nermerous occasions and they over charged us for warranty issues. They replaced a motor and we have only had problems since that; they can't seem to figure out the problem. . Wasted countless hours of bringing the car in to only have the same result. I would recommend never going there you will only have bad experiences from them. More

Bad Experience I was always a GM guy but one time my Buick Regal had a recall. I took it in and when they finished with the replacement part I started driving down t I was always a GM guy but one time my Buick Regal had a recall. I took it in and when they finished with the replacement part I started driving down the road a noticed my hood up on the one side. I returned the car and when the hood was opened, there was the old part on the rad. Fortunately it didn't damage the hood. Another time when my car quit on 10th street here in Owen Sound we had it towed to Hal Wright's. After 2 days they couldn't figure it out so I went on the net and found the answer for them. Is this not their job? Turns out the ignition switch develops carbon on the terminals inside and will not conduct electricity and fails. They replaced the switch but also told me that the car also blew the body control module which was a lie. They gave me the old ignition switch but not the module. When I asked where this part was I was told they didn't know where it went and would let me know if they found it. I'm still waiting. This fiasco cost me over $700.00 I have since purchase a new Toyota. More
Very poor customer service I was looking to purchase a newer vehicle, and inquired about the Acadia model. Repeatedly had to phone and inquire what "progress" they had made wit I was looking to purchase a newer vehicle, and inquired about the Acadia model. Repeatedly had to phone and inquire what "progress" they had made with a trade value for my uplander (took 4 days for a response) was told I would have a value when my van was ready for pick up that same day after being in the shop (and unable to find anything wrong with it, but still charged me $166). Was told numerous times by salesman Todd that he would assist me in getting a newer vehicle (we are a family of 5), never heard from him, always had to phone and inquire. Was told he would work some numbers for me regarding pricing, never heard back. This dealership doesn't want to deal with you unless your considering spending a minimum of $50,000 on a vehicle. You will never get my business again. I went elsewhere. More
How A Service Centre Can Ruin a Good Buying Experience My Terrain purchase was a good experience but have now had 2 negative service experiences. Took my car in because the rear hatch switches stopped work My Terrain purchase was a good experience but have now had 2 negative service experiences. Took my car in because the rear hatch switches stopped working, a piece of weather stripping had peeled off and it needed a tire rotation. After 2 and a half hours of waiting (with no communication from the service staff), the tires were rotated. But the existing weather stripping was cobbled back together - when I asked why it wasn't replaced I was told they needed to order a part for $33 and would I like them to do that? More importantly, I was casually told the switches (the main event) had NOT been fixed - they tried to find the problem but it was 5pm and so I would have to come back to get it fixed another time. No apology. Cost to NOT fix the switches - $92.00. I will NOT be going back. More
Don't purchase from HAL Wright Chev This place loves to take your money for a new vehicle. My vehicle has broken down so much with different issues that the rental car place has a huge file on me! Over 17 times in 36 months! I only heard from the owner once and never heard from the sales guy after the sale...not even one call. And the owner says to me "I never followed up with you because I can choose my customers i own the business, you are not a nice person, you are so negative!" really Ted Wright, you sure loved me when I handed you big money for this cheap ride! And no support from General Motors either. I suggest if you really are stuck on GM, go somewhere else, QUICKLY! More
