When I arrived after 2.5 hours of driving they started by dropping a $995 hidden fee on me (non-negotiable, of course), then offered me 12.5% of the value of my trade-in they initially quoted (I even sent pictures, VIN in advance)! When I tried to counter the sales person told me that I should have known that the initial quote was wrong, crumpled up the paperwork, threw up his hands and sent me on my way. I could not believe that they didn't make any attempt to keep me there. I mean, I clearly really wanted the vehicle! have to say that this was very deceptive and rude treatment. Before I arrived I was told I would be compensated for my gas. Empty promise. I was told that they had a deal where they were going to pay 125% of value on a trade-in. Lie. So disappointed. A lot to be said for dealing with honest people. More
Not straight forward When you meet the sales rep tell me that I have to pay 697.00$ for a car proof, car clean up, lien search, etc.? Then we finally agree on a price for When you meet the sales rep tell me that I have to pay 697.00$ for a car proof, car clean up, lien search, etc.? Then we finally agree on a price for the used vehicule, I have to see the credit director. Actually, I must see. I am being told that I pay cash or if I have my own financing, the price of car is 997.00$ more. They get a commission from the bank to bring them clients. No problem about that. The trick is the following. They try to sell you : life insurance, car insurance, car taging, etc. On each of these product they make a commission. 48 hours after having agreed on to purchase the said car, the credit application has not even been submited to a financial institution ? I forgot to mention that they try to make me agree to pay 1% more than the current interest rate generally going on the market. And so, before having a look at my credit. One Have to understand that 1% during the term of the loan, represent 1000.00$. So they get a higher commission from the bank. More
I do believe if you have nothing good to say dont say anything, but it is very important to make people aware that their are deals to be had out their ,and when a dealer forces or puts pressure for you anything, but it is very important to make people aware that their are deals to be had out their ,and when a dealer forces or puts pressure for you to leave a deposit or buy right away this is not a good thing. The people are nice at the dealership but the mighty dollar runs the place, they will cry and say they are not making any money on the car.... but the fact is the COST price of the vehicle they show you on their computer is not the the cost this is a smoke screen to make you feel they are giving you the best price, that is not the case they can do better and they know it , thats why they try to pressure you so you dont shop around more. I didn't like forceful attitude to buy the car NOW and the trying to convince me that they were giving me the best price. I found the same car but more equipped and more upgrades included, for almost $3000.00 dollars less than this dealership " supposedly almost cost price" and they didn't even force me to leave a deposit , they said come back later think about it.
