That is disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. I can understand your frustration regarding the 2007 sprinter van that you purchased privately and not from Grande Prairie Chrysler. As I am sure you can appreciate, being that this vehicle had over 173,000km and required several repairs to make it road worthy, no AMVIC certified dealer could sell this 2007 sprinter van as it would not pass the required AMVIC inspection. As e-mail was your preferred method of communication, our service advisor did respond to you in the timeliest manner possible. Over 150 e-mails were logged in our service department regarding your 2007 sprinter van. I do apologize if you feel our service department fell short on meeting your criteria for follow up. As you were aware from the person you purchased your 2007 sprinter van from privately, this vehicle suffered an engine fire that resulted in severe electrical damages; which also appears to be the root of the reoccurring problems. As you were made aware, the parts required to fix this unit had to be ordered directly from Germany which was the cause of the lengthy repair time. You have stated that you wanted all required repairs completed; however you did not approve all of the items our mechanic recommended, some of which were the additional repairs done in Calgary. You are claiming that you purchased a lemon; you purchased a 2007 used Sprinter Van with over 173,000km from a private individual, not from Grande Prairie Chrysler. Our service team had no history and no information on how this unit had been maintained. I am regretful that you felt our service fell short of your expectations. Grande Prairie Chrysler strives for 100% customer satisfaction 100% of the time. Based on Chrysler Canada warranty requirements a Chrysler certified technician must determine if there is a manufactures defect present.
