On February 06 of this year my car wouldn’t start. Roadside assistance hooked up the battery and said the reading was good but we could not get my car started. He thought it was a key fob issue and that I would have to go to the dealership to get it repaired. I had my car towed to Go Nissan North. Go Nissan North told me my battery needed to be replaced even though I told them it was NOT a battery issue. They replaced the battery and then the spark plugs and then the car was still not starting - they informed me the car needed an entire new engine. The car had failed a compression test. The car had just under 160000km on it. At the advise of some car - savvy friends, I took it for a second opinion at my mechanic. My mechanic found a simple broken oil valve and performed another compression test which read perfectly fine. I had the valve repaired and the oil changed and have driven it for a month now with no further issues. Clearly I did NOT need a new engine. Go Nissan had tried to get me to trade in my Juke for $1500 and buy a different used car off of them. My mechanic knows this car and printed off some records for me - the spark plugs and battery that they replaced were not even a year old, they were never the issue. My mechanic said that broken valve was the problem and that I didn’t need a battery or spark plugs, much less a brand new engine! So I’m addition to almost SCAMMING me out of a $6000 personal loss if I had traded my Juke in, I also paid Go Nissan North $650 for a battery and spark plugs that I didn’t need, and an incorrect diagnosis of what was wrong with the car. When I went to Go Nissan North today, both Dani Roy (service manager) and Ray Sinclair (general manager) refused to hold any accountability for their mistakes. They insisted that their compression and battery tests were correct and that they didn’t believe there was a broken valve that they didn’t spot. The overwhelming evidence says otherwise. I requested a full refund and they instead offered me a $100 Go Nissan gift card when I obviously have zero desire to work with them again. A report has been filed with AMVIC and hopefully between that and the power of social media, people can avoid this place and not get scammed as I almost was. More
Horrible experience with this dealership and a complete waste of time. I will be kind and not name names. I went in to test drive the 2013 Kia Sorento. It was listed for 15 900 online. I explained my budge waste of time. I will be kind and not name names. I went in to test drive the 2013 Kia Sorento. It was listed for 15 900 online. I explained my budget to the sales rep in advance and he told me to come in for a test drive. When I got there in person he told me he spoke with the manager and they agreed on $14000 ALL IN (with GST included-no additional fees, etc). He said lets test drive it to make sure you like it and then we will write up the deal afterwards. After test driving the vehicle and liking it, we returned to the dealership. The sales rep came out with a written offer that was $15 800 and said "yeah unfortunately my manager can't do the 14000 all in." He said the manager had time to crunch numbers and essentially took back the deal. I don't know if they were planning on us loving the test drive and knew from the start that they wouldn't budge on the price, but regardless it was told to our face they would make it happen and then they went back on their word. I guess it's my mistake for thinking anyone in the dealership industry can actually keep their word... we drove 30 minutes on the basis that they would do this deal. We confirmed 14000 again before test driving-only for them to take it back once it came down to paying for it. I explained to the sales rep that he wasted our time and that we would not have bothered to come in if we knew this from the start. Not to mention their payment plan they offered with me putting money down was just as much as buying a brand new vehicle with 0 money down... I am not putting all of the fault on the sales rep, because he was relaying information that the manager said. Regardless, shame on the manager for being so unprofessional and losing our business. If you want to deal with people who over promise but under deliver-go to this dealership. More
The worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I was looking at a 2021 Honda Insight they posted for sale on Kijiji Auto. List of issues against them: -The car was listed at $27,900 but they said th looking at a 2021 Honda Insight they posted for sale on Kijiji Auto. List of issues against them: -The car was listed at $27,900 but they said the actual price was $29,900. They refused to honor the advertised price on Kijiji Auto at the time contrary to what I would expect from a reputable dealership. I have records of my interactions with them showing the price $27900 was still posted on Kijiji Auto at the time of negotiation. - They withheld material information such as cracked windshield and a missing second set of key until the very end and demanded a $500 deposit before I could send a friend to check out the vehicle. Please note I was dealing with them over the phone as an out-of-province customer. When I expressly asked them about any issues before I sent my friend to check it out, they said the vehicle was practically brand new and had zero issues. Upon request they supplied me an incomplete post dated MFA showing no observation on the windshield. - They refused to repair the windshield and and get me the second set of keys entirely at their cost as a condition to sale. When they refused to fulfill the condition and I told them that I wouldn't like to proceed any further, one of their assistant sales manager Blair told me that they wouldn't be refunding the $500 deposit. I still have an email from them that says the deposit is refundable subject satisfactory inspection + test drive. Upon inspection two issues were identified and since they refused to address those to my satisfaction, they are bound to refund the money. I am not letting it go. Also they collected the deposit contrary to the rules set by AMVIC (without sales agreement signed by both parties) -They tried pass on an additional charge of $699 and add it as a mandatory anti theft etching fee that was already on the car from before. I talked to AMVIC and they confirmed that fee being illegal. - I also had put in the finance application which was approved and booked a flight from Regina to pick the vehicle. But at the very end not only they refused to fulfill my conditions to purchase they are also refusing to refund the deposit. I am currently in the process to file official complaints against this business. - Their sales managers clearly lack the minimum courtesy and their business ethics is pathetic. I feel really bitter about the whole experience. More
Disappointing dealership with disappointing management. Waited 4 days for a call back and never received one. I had to call to follow up on a deal with the sales manager. Clearly, not interested in selling Waited 4 days for a call back and never received one. I had to call to follow up on a deal with the sales manager. Clearly, not interested in selling cars. Two of the sales reps messaged me apologizing for nobody getting back to me but this was after I messaged them indicating I was still waiting for a reply. At a time when you would think sales would be a priority it definitely didn’t seem that way at Go Nissan North. More

I recently purchased a used vehicle that required some TLC and I opted to get the work done with Go Nissan North’s service department. Long story short, the majority of the repairs weren’t completed, desp TLC and I opted to get the work done with Go Nissan North’s service department. Long story short, the majority of the repairs weren’t completed, despite being assured they were. The sales department worked towards a resolution, but wasn’t receptive to their role in the issue. I ended up having to take the vehicle to another mechanic to complete the same repairs and now I’m out even more money. There’s some well intentioned people at Go Nissan North, but also poorly trained staff and very weak processes that invite issues in. Would recommend first-time buyers steer clear. The first and lady vehicle I purchase from Go Nissan North - terrible experience. More

This Dealership definitely does not care about customer service at all! They sold me a car that had major issues with the engine and they did not disclose this to me. I am currently working with AMVIC to service at all! They sold me a car that had major issues with the engine and they did not disclose this to me. I want to counter the negative reviews I have been reading, as I just had a great experience working with Khalid. I never felt any pressure and always felt that Kal heard and understood what I was loo reading, as I just had a great experience working with Khalid. I never felt any pressure and always felt that Kal heard and understood what I was looking for (and not looking for). He seemed to understand my questions, needs, and limitations. He actually recommended looking around and "sleeping on it" before making a decision (however, I bought on the same day). Bottom line: he was polite and respectful the whole time and seemed to take pride in being honest and straightforward. The ink just dried on the sale, so I can't speak to the service department or reliability of the car (but it - 2021 Sentra SR - gets good reviews with Consumer Report). If the dealership follows Kal's example, they should do well. More
Sales kid was good enough to work with, however the sales manager shouldn’t be managing a shoe box. He was unfair in negotiations and argued for almost three hours about replacing a super cracked windshield manager shouldn’t be managing a shoe box. He was unfair in negotiations and argued for almost three hours about replacing a super cracked windshield before delivery. Apparently he should look up the definition of “non-negotiable” before trying to negotiate. Upon delivery the car was not up to satisfactory cleanliness but I was tired of being there and didn’t want to wait around. If you value your time, please go elsewhere. More
