I have 36,000 kms on my 2022 Kia shortage and this car is a lemon, I’ve had to replace the tires and brakes and many may other things. I once sat there for five hours just to get an overcharge oil change. Th a lemon, I’ve had to replace the tires and brakes and many may other things. I once sat there for five hours just to get an overcharge oil change. The service staff is not that friendly and one guy said to me when I had him a discount card, you should have lead with that! Oh I’m sorry you had to redo my paperwork as I’m trying to save money on this terrible lemon car. More
Misleading advertising regarding price. Then Website promised “we will pay your first payment, you will spin a prize wheel”, etc. I was told they wouldn’t do that. Made me hang around Then Website promised “we will pay your first payment, you will spin a prize wheel”, etc. I was told they wouldn’t do that. Made me hang around for hours on end. Took over a week before they could give me the car I bought, then was kept waiting for hours..again Then I got endless phone calls a week later as they forgot for me to fill in a form Absolutely useless, and absolute time wasters. Worst car buying experience ever More
Very disappointing experience from start to finish at Kia West in Coquitlam. Our salesperson was Enes and while the initial test drive and sale process was fine, everything afterward was poorly handled. We purchased a demo model (Kia Niro PHEV) at the end of the month. The dealership was busy and the paperwork process took longer than expected. We had our two young kids with us, so only one of us could stay after the test drive to finalize the sale. They sent us home with a loaner car so they could detail the vehicle, and we were asked to come back the next day to meet with the finance team and insure the car. My husband originally booked an 8:00 PM appointment, but the dealership pushed him to come earlier at 6:30 PM. When he arrived, the finance person wasn’t actually available at that time, and he ended up waiting over 2 hours just to sign paperwork and take the car home. The condition of the vehicle was subpar. The detailing was clearly rushed—there were still dirt spots on the seats and seatbelts, smudges on the visor mirror, and even garbage left in a back cupholder. On top of that, there were documents left in the glove compartment from previous users (since it had been used as a loaner), containing sensitive personal information like addresses and credit card details. About a week later, we received a call from the dealership saying they thought we had taken the wrong car. It turns out they had insured the wrong vehicle entirely, meaning we had been driving an uninsured car—with our kids—for a full week. The only reason they found out was probably because they sold the other car and was unable to insure it because it was under our name. They asked us to come back to fix the issue and refused to discuss any compensation beforehand. My husband had to spend several more hours at the dealership redoing paperwork and getting the correct vehicle insured. In the end, they offered one year of free service for putting our family's safety at risk. The worst part is that we have to return to this dealership for the service. We would not recommend this dealership; go to another Kia if you can. More
