Sales manager refuses to tell you his name This dealership had a vehicle on hold as a replacement for my tdi recall. I had a deposit on the vehicle. They sold the vehicle from under me after This dealership had a vehicle on hold as a replacement for my tdi recall. I had a deposit on the vehicle. They sold the vehicle from under me after I was approved for a newer vehicle to replace my jetta tdi. They did not inform me of this and simply kept my deposit. I visited them today and met with a sales manager named "cody" he refused to give me a business card or his last name. I visited this site and discovered that his name is "Cody wood". I asked as to why my Passat had been sold and not held as the financing department had indicated would be "not a problem" once my tdi jetta was returned. Mr Wood informers me that it was a dealership decision to sell my Passat. I asked him if he understood that this purchase was related to the tdi emission settlement. He indicated that the settlement had nothing to do them as a dealership. I found this very surprising so I asked. What should I tell VW canada when they ask me why I am not driving one of their vehicles as I indicated I would purchase in the settlement agreement? He had no response. I indicated to him that I would inform VW of what transpired here today as I found the sale of my vehicle and non return of the purchase deposit unacceptable. I then asked to have my deposit returned to me. He said it would be mailed out to me. I asked him for a business card. Mr Wood asked me why I needed one. I informed him that it was to know who I was dealing with today. He refused and said "I'm the only Cody that works here." So much for being a professional. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new VW. More
