Glacier Honda

I am very sad to be writing this poor review, as it ruined a 3.5 year relationship between myself and the dealership in question. I went into Glacier with my 2023 Civic Si, looking to trade for a 2023 Integra they had on the lot. We completed the trade and paperwork. The vehicle has a noticeable vibration above 100km/h, becoming very severe above 130. Naturally, not easily noticeable in test drive speeds of 0-80. New tires were also placed on the vehicle, as this vibration existed at trade in, and this was a solution they came up with. Along with resurfacing the rotors(questionable action) They went from Continental ContiProContact A/S to General G-max All seasons, a worse tire in grip and overall performance. The wheels should have been balanced at this point. If a wheel did not balance, it should have been inspected for damage. Despite this, the vehicle was sold to me as is. I was also pressured to buy a third party warranty over a Honda or Acura extended warranty, which costs double that of the Acura extended warranty. Thankfully, there was an error in the first contract, so my original contact was void. Therefore I did not sign the contract for the vehicle. Unfortunately, they did a second credit check that I have disputed. This is the only thing that saved me from a potential issue prone vehicle. If anyone reads this, I encourage you to advocate for better consumer rights in BC, especially regarding vehicle purchases. More

Worst Service I ever experienced in my 45 years of driving This dealership, I feel, destroyed my transmission. They say they do a 20 point check on fluid levels etc. every time you have servicing - if they do (which I doubt) they don't let you know if there is a problem or don't do anything about problems they find including letting you know. In October they said they checked my transmission fluid, in February my transmission died - it had no transmission fluid in it and there was no leak. I took it in to get the timing belt changed at the time you are suppose to change them, $1700.00 bill. Later I find out the mechanic looked at it and thought it was fine so didn't change it, I was not told at the time, later when I had seals leaking I am told it was not done - I was very angry - then they back tracked and said it was done and they offered to fix the seals at such a reduced rate $400.00 over the original $1800.00 quote I let them hoping that they would do the timing belt at the same time. I will never go there again and I am cautioning everyone else to not go there if you value your vehicle. I did buy another Honda they are good vehicles but I will never go back to this dealership.
