Charged me for a Warranty item and didn't fix my AC in the 2 In the last month I came in a few times with a NEW Durango with AC not working and the ORIGINAL Trailer Hitch electrical not working. 1st time the In the last month I came in a few times with a NEW Durango with AC not working and the ORIGINAL Trailer Hitch electrical not working. 1st time their AC machine wasn't working, so they only looked at the hitch electrical but said I would have to come back to have re-programmed. (John M said it would take 10 minutes to program). 2nd time their AC machine magically wasn't working again and then they Charged me 1 hour labour for a 10 minute programming to the hitch electrical. This is something that should have been working from the start! All Chrysler cars with a Factory hitch Installed have this ON, (otherwise they would have to activate after the fact which I would understand). I did not go back the 3rd time because I cannot trust them. They ripped me off. This should have been a warranty item. (2016 Durango with 12k) John M did not advise to me that I would have to pay to have this programmed... Its a NEW car... this is Warranty work... it wasn't done properly at the factory by error in my view. I believe I deserve my $118 refunded back to me. Martin BTW. I went to another dealership and they fixed my AC in 2 hours under Warranty. More
Horrible at their job, but great at apologizing! I started my search for a Ram 1500 online. Noticed a promo for about $291/m. Islington Chrysler, near my house, didn't have the leasing software I started my search for a Ram 1500 online. Noticed a promo for about $291/m. Islington Chrysler, near my house, didn't have the leasing software, so they couldn't go through with the promotion advertised (but they got me in the door to try to get me to finance). I then got a quote from Tyler at Georgetown Chrysler in reference to the leasing promotion. They were able to lease, but it was very difficult getting a straight forward answer as to how much the truck will cost me per month. He mentioned I didn't qualify for one of the rebates simply because I didn't currently own a truck, which is completely ridiculous. They also charged me a security deposit which was never mentioned before. After getting the final numbers as to my downpayment and monthly payment, I decided to go and sign for the deal. When I got there, the monthly payment had increased by over $70!!! All Tyler could do was apologize, but im sure there was a bit of deception to get me in the door (I'll be contacting OMVIC to see if this is a violation of a sort). They agreed to deliver the truck with a bedliner to somewhat sooth things over, but an extra $1500 or so to my term, doesn't exactly do that. Darren the sales manager must have used the leasing software for the very first time to sign my deal. It appeared he had little to no training in using it. Took him forever and the numbers seemed to be all over the place. After receiving approval, I requested the truck to be registered in my company name, since that was the reason for the lease. He said it was impossible since the vehicle is leased to me and not the company. He refused to reapply for the lease in my company name. About 15 hours before the delivery of my truck, Darren phones me and tells me they don't have a bedliner for me. He said I would have to come back in a week to have it installed. After asking him and Tyler if I was going to be compensated for my time driving back from Toronto, the gas, and mileage, Tyler just apologized again, and politely refused to compensate me in any way. Make sure you budget lots of time to deal with Georgetown Chrysler. I was at the dealership for an hour an a half to sign for the truck. Constantly having to wait. Got lots of apologies though. I was at the dealership for almost two hours picking it up on delivery day!! Again, lots of apologies came my way. In conclusion, this dealership doesn't appear to be looking for repeat business. I will not be doing business with them again. They don't have a clue how to make a customer happy after making a mistake. Dealing with Ford was a lot more pleasant as far as I went with them. No hidden fees or tricks to get me in the door. More
They don't want to sell cars just service them I tried buying a car at this dealer twice over the past 5 years seeing as I live in GT I would like to support local businesses. They were not even w I tried buying a car at this dealer twice over the past 5 years seeing as I live in GT I would like to support local businesses. They were not even willing to make a counter offer from another dealer. Further when the truck I bought from another dealer got a flat tire only after 1,800 kms they refused to have it covered under warranty. The fellow at the desk said new cars don't come with tire warranties - the Rexdale dealer never hesitated to replace the tire and even washed the truck!!! I wouldn't recommend this dealer to my worst enemy as they are horrible and lazy! More
Dodge canada renders unpleasant experience via dealer So y`all can get the feel of IT,in full, because it was a long exhausting 5 days, I`ll give it to you in as brief a synopsis as is possible. After week So y`all can get the feel of IT,in full, because it was a long exhausting 5 days, I`ll give it to you in as brief a synopsis as is possible. After weeks of research, I had 7 Dealerships under consideration in the Toronto and outlying areas where I could save several thousand dollars. They pretty much had the same prices advertised.Indeed, the price was right for me on Oct 15 and on Oct 17 when I purchased a 2016 Dodge Caravan Canada Value Package (CVP) @ Georgetown Chrysler Dodge. This van, perhaps other models also as in Town&Country,is NOT EQUIPPED WITH A COMPACT SPARE!!Look underneath the van between the front seats. Not even a donut, but they had timbits and coffee.Merci beaucoup, mais, but, they can keep the repair kit provided and the roadside assistance warranty to remove the flat tire and install your spare tire???Hello? This faux pas is all on Dodge Canada! Joe Pinto(my sales person,) told me Oct 19 he didn`t know, the 2015`s have one.I believe him.We had made a deal on Oct 15 on the phone, they faxed me I faxed them documents to show my sincerety and to quote Joe"you kept your part of the bargain."Darren Senensky from financial sales, kept trying to get me to sign the sales agreement where the box said Sale Final, it`s just a paper of agreement and on and on.I hadn`t even seen the vehicle yet! He had also kept me on the phone Way too long with his sales pitch on extended warranties, then how many km I was going to drive, then my preferred undercoating and on and on when I had already told him firmly I wasn`t interested in anything else.He kept on,even after I told him to X everything and fax me the sales agreement now before the insurance broker and the bank closed.I never made the bank and had to travel another hour return the next day on Oct 16.On the 17th,after finding out I had no spare, I spent no less then 4 hours on the phone in St Catharines trying to buy a full size Yokohama tire and rim for a spare.Nobody had one, everywhere I called Yoko was on BO(back order.)It was 2 days to order then when they called back,it was 2weeks with no guarantees of getting one for my new 2016 Caravan! Then I started calling for a compact spare at crap dealers! Also hard to find.On Oct 19,Paul from parts @ Georgetown found me one at Performance Chrysler in St Catharines. Thanks Paul.He had also said they didn`t list a compact spare. You can`t buy one? I finally found one in Thorold ON for $70. but it had some 1/2 inch cracks in it with an 8 inch series of more but I kept it wanting to leave the next day. After many hours to get all that secured and ready for my 1100 km trip back home, this Senior writer was very very tired. No thanks to Dodge Canada for the most part my new vehicle purchase was an unpleasant experience! Buyers of dodge vans beware of no compact spare and a lot of difficulty getting one from wreckers/recyclers also not to mention new Yokohama tires to suit this base model and perhaps many others. Thanks for reading and or listening. Want the whole story? Read more on to be continued;or in the book. This must be a chapter for one . Merci. More
Great Service dept. I bought my Fiat at another dealership which treated me poorly. I came here on a whim a year and a half ago and have been happy ever since. This de I bought my Fiat at another dealership which treated me poorly. I came here on a whim a year and a half ago and have been happy ever since. This dealer doesn't try and up sell you anything. You come in for what you want and that's what they do. (that might not be good for people who don't know what service they should be doing, but that's what the booklet that comes with you car is for) They have always done warranty repairs without question. Last but not least, Paul and the other guys in the parts department are just fantastic. More
